No Kidneying Around No Kidneying Around Fundraiser was founded by Candice & Doug Van Diepen as a token to their Kidney community & raise awareness.

In March 2013 Doug & I hosted our first event, a combination of a vendor trade show and a live auction & silent auction all under the same roof, with visions of the future hosting a dinner and more fun events. We organized it with the help of Candice's sister Tamara & husband Paul who actually came up with the catchy name calling it “No Kidneying Around”. We organize & promote this event on our o

wn with the help of friends and family to give back to the Kidney Foundation of Canada South Western Ontario. This is our way of giving back for all they have done for Doug and continue to do over the years since his Kidney Transplant in 2003. The monies raised went to support patient education, provide transportation and financial assistance to patients on dialysis and for Research performed in London, Ontario and a special camp called "Camp Dorset". We cannot tell you in words the effects of a Kidney transplant may have on your life or a loved one but the effects of signing your donor card are shown in Doug. Every day he is able to continue a somewhat normal life, He continues to work at Formet Industries celebrating 15 years with them this past December. He supports his family and is a wonderful father.
