This began when I realized that I had so much Ankara (african material) and wanted to do more than just make dresses. I soon began to realize that the same material that we as Africans may have overlooked, was becoming mainstream in fashion, with the likes of Solange Knowles, Gwen Stefani, Rihanna and even Michelle Obama. Being that I have always enjoyed diy projects and upcycling, I started makin

g items with the African materials and other materials available to me. Not only do I like making jewelry, I also have taken an interest in decorating.
