Scripture Ref: Hebrews 12:1-2

Many of us are in a season where it seems as if everything is chaotic. God has given you specific instructions to follow and you carried them out exactly how He instructed. But, it seems like you run into a dead end after turning every corner. Open doors that appear to be opened just for you, shut in your face as you proceed to walk through. There is turmoil in your home, and marriage is rocky. No one has the answers or solutions. It’s just you and God. I came to encourage you to seek God even more during the difficult moments.

It is time saints to fight back and stand knowing God is in control. Your breakthrough is around the corner! You’re a lot closer than you think! Understand and know it’s a constant spiritual battle that we face. Ephesians 6:12 tells us “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” It’s not the people who we work with or current situation or circumstance we’re fighting, it’s the enemy. Satan tries to discourage and distract us from reaching our destination and he will use any means necessary to do so. He wants you to believe that there is no way out so you can throw in the towel. That is why we have to be prepared at all times to go into battle.

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 tells us “Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” Did you know a tree grows stronger after every storm? After a storm, water saturates the ground to a deeper depth. The tree’s roots follow that water, which causes the tree to plant itself deeper into the earth, thus allowing the tree to grow stronger and deeper where it stands. God is shaking many of us so that our roots will go deeper and we become stronger in Him. Stand strong and weather the storm. Fight the good fight of faith and you’ll come out stronger and deeply rooted in Christ Jesus!
