✨ Wedding Tip Tuesday! ✨

Family photos! Here are some tips to keep these moving smoothly & get you all to cocktail hour sooner!
💚 Create a family photo list for your photographer ahead of time. List each group you'd like photographed & all of their names.
💚 Have a designated photo runner for each side of the family. You may have a list of names but your photographer doesn't know what Aunt Sally looks like! Designate someone who knows everyone to go wrangle family.
💚 Keep in mind that every grouping will take at least 60-90 seconds to set up so a large list can quickly add up!
💚 Remember that if there are groups you don't have time for during the designated family photos time, you can always get a photo with those groups during the reception.

Mia & Justin’s wedding day was filled with so much love & joy! From sun up to sun down, Mia, Justin, and their loved ones, had a fantastic time with constant smiles all around. They made sure to have beautiful colors expressed through playful bud vases on the tables and a pink neon sign behind the cake table! There was so much fun, it will be a night I will never forget!

I loved working with Aidan & Lindsey! This couple was so kind throughout the whole planning process. They had an absolutely beautiful day & their love for each other was so clear all throughout it. Their day was so much fun from champagne sprays in matching pjs to pizza & ice cream sandwiches for dinner to the “A + L” heart shaped sunglasses being passed around the dance floor! A highlight of my day was watching the bride & her crew jam out to “Love Story” in the bridal suite in the morning & then coming full circle when Lindsey & Aidan got to have their “Love Story” moment together on the dance floor, now as a married couple!

Have a "Take 5" after your ceremony! Plan for somewhere you & your new spouse can hide away for a few minutes, just the two of you. Taking some time together to soak in that "just married" feeling before you head into the rest of your big day will be a memory you will treasure.
🌿 Bonus Tip, ask if your catering team or planner can have a plate of apps & drinks ready for the 2 of you in that space so you have something to snack on!

Rehearsals can often feel like the start of all the wedding weekend festivities - this also makes it important to keep from starting late & making the weekend start off on a note that feels like you're playing catch up. Our advice is to keep rehearsal only the folks who need to be there; i.e. those who are playing a direct role in the ceremony. This will help ensure your rehearsal moves quickly & smoothly, so you all can get to celebrating after! 🥂

Looking back on such a sweet day for the sweetest couple, almost one year ago!! Erin & Taylor were all smiles all day long! I had such a wonderful time getting to know this couple. Their love for each other was so evident all throughout the day and it was so lovely seeing their friends & family celebrate them! I loved so many details about this day, from the custom detachable sleeves on the bride’s gown to the vintage style heart cake to the customized matching sneakers.
