12th of June Sunday 🎉 Save the date. VeloFest360 Time Trial Challenge in High Hill, Texas. Join us along with when he returns from Spain to Texas to train and prepare to defend his US Pro Cycling Time Trial title in Knoxville TN later in June. Y'all will be his sparring partners and fans. Choose the 20k 1 lap or 40k 2 lap distances. Easy access from Austin, Houston and San Antonio. More details to come.

Here is a map showing some of the Moon Towers of Austin that we'll be doing for tonight's LAZY LUNES ATX casual ride. Meetup at 8:15pm and depart at 8:30pm for a 1 hour cycling night tour. Avg 14mph. Strava link will be added here and to VeloFest360 Instagram's profile link.

July 12th Monday, 6:30pm depart Lazy Lunes 🐐Civil Goat Coffee on Guadalupe. This is a social, casual 1 hr pedal thru Austin to share with new bike life riders the lesser known paths and ways across town. We'll meet at different venues and have different themes or routes that others want to share. 14mph recovery mode here, bicycle bells are highly recommended and blinky lights for safety.

And each new venue and ride has some cool themes ahead. Putting together the Dazed and Confused route 😁 and One Hour of Murals. If you want to submit a theme, and lead a route, DM me and let's get you on the schedule.

Lazy Lunes ATX aka Lazy Mondays in Austin will launch on July 12th. The goal here is to get in a social, casual, recovery pace group ride after work and share routes, biker route hacks thru the city with others. And end each ride with a 10 minute TEDTALK styled Bike Life chat about subjects like FIXING A FLAT TIRE, TECH TALKS, BIKE SURVIAL MAINTENANCE, ETC.

1 hour social ride 6:15pm meetup, car parking available, 6:30pm depart. Cafe closes at 5pm, sorry, but they said parking OK. And we can maybe do Amy's Ice Cream and 10 minute FIX-A-FLAT TEDTALK afterwards. Goal here is to teach riders different paths thru Austin, social spin, recovery ride 14mph avg...

Monday's Stars and Stripes Victory Cruise 🇺🇸 was a no drop 💧 ride as planned. Rains cleared and big cheers to these racers who brought home USA Cycling National titles to Texas.

4 Texans brought home USA Cycling Amateur National Championships titles from Florida last weekend. And 2 Texan pros and won titles the weekend prior.

Holland TX GP3 🇳🇱 let me introduce who has been a great influence in my event preparations. Joel first raced with us at Rogers TX GP 🎉 and he emailed me in advance as a deaf athlete with the usual racer questions. He made me realize that I needed to prepare more for deaf athletes, put everything in writing in advance, have my race day notes clear and concise, put captions in my YouTube videos, share details on the race day marker board, make clear visible course notes and warning signs for course hazards and no more winging it verbally at the start line for events.
