With our first wedding of 2022 coming up at the end of this week, we got some new gear just in time for it… and no, it’s not this 90’s-era manfrotto tripod 😆

We’ve got a new camera in our arsenal that will give us a little more bang for our buck in dimly lit event settings. That means capturing more of the action on wedding reception dance floors with less use of fill flash. While I loved the versatility of 42 megapixels (I can be pretty heavy-handed with my cropping!), my camera was getting on in years (and shutter count) so it was time for a change.

Now entering a new era of stylistic choices *not* hindered by sensor size and low light limitations… can’t wait to hit the ground running on Friday!
