January – Each member show 5 vacation/trip photos from 2017. Discuss purpose and goal of Sun Lakes Photo Club page and importance of Life Styles article – highlight a club member each month and provide link to SL Photo Club page. February meeting assignment – shooting table top photos

February – Shoot table top still life photos to display at March meeting. (Bring your camera and each member bring one table top item to share with members.

March – Show members selected 5 table top photos. Discuss importance of “glass” over “expensive camera”: April Meeting assignment – wildlife photography

April – Show up to 5 wildlife photos from each member. Next Meeting assignment – Modes Workshop(Auto, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Controlling Depth of Field (bring your cameras). May meeting assignment – Macro Photography – flowers, insects, household items, garage items, etc. Try to be creative in selection of item. Discuss use of tripod and rails.

May – Show up to 5 macro photos from each member. Discuss shooting black and white (bring your cameras) June meeting assignment – Black and White photography.

June – Show up to 5 black and white photographs from each member. July meeting assignment – night photography. Discuss using high ISO settings(bring your camera).
