This season during our Nationals, (literally in the moment and why I don’t have a full video to post or a high quality video from our photographers)…. Thank you Tiffany for capturing this as much as you could (not knowing that we were talking about your daughter the whole time you captured the 2nd half which we are forever grateful for 🫶) . I decided that this award was needed! Inspired by a little girl who made our season so much brighter than she will ever truly know 💕 . I didn’t tell anyone I was doing this and decided to create this award ON THE SPOT midst our 2024 Orlando National Gala! . . We at @luv2danceusa @glowdancecompetition & @luv2dancecomp instill good sportsmanship as a very important component at our events. We truly believe #kindnesswins ALWAYS . . We were thrilled to have Miss Aria Matthiesen from @sabuccosdancecompany at three of our events this season. She and her studio attended all three tours, constantly cheering for everyone, regardless of who they were, which studio they represented, or their age or ability. Aria celebrated others’ successes with high fives and kind words, even when things didn’t go as she had hoped for her own routines, it never prevented her from ensuring she supported and cheered on everyone else. . Aria reminded us that “it truly does just takes ONE person to make a difference”. . . We can ALWAYS chose to act with kindness no matter the circumstances, and she is a beautiful example of how we can all be. . There are so many inspiring and kind dancers and we want to take a moment at EVERY Regional & National going forward to present ONE dancer who displays such incredible acts of kindness on and off stage all weekend (or week) long. Kindness is contagious and we want to continue to encourage our new generation of kids to strive to act in a positive uplifting way. . Congratulations Aria for setting a new trend

Nearly two years ago, we on earth lost an exceptional dancer who graced the stages of @luv2dancecomp & @luv2danceusa in Orlando, FL, multiple times. Lena was truly one-of-a-kind, and her talent was evident from the moment we witnessed her perform. She had a captivating presence, effortlessly commanding the attention of her audience with every move. When Lena danced, she seemed to flow effortlessly, captivating the audience with her story. . To our daughter @alyessia.Isabella.dancer and son @thestefanoalessandro, she remains not only a role model but also a beloved big sister. . Today marks her 16th birthday, and although we won’t be able to physically celebrate with her, we are celebrating her life and her presence among the angels in heaven. We are grateful for the memories we did share and make on this earth. We will forever remember and honor your memory and even created an award specifically in your honor with our new Competition System @glowdancecompetition entitled the “AfterGlow”. . It never becomes easier. Each day, we discover how much we miss the moments we once shared, but we also learn to cherish you more.
