6 months of the nightmare in Gaza and no end in sight- quite the opposite, the genociders are trying to expand the conflict and draw others in. I feel the rage building in others and in myself and even the slightest hope for peace is fading. If there ever was any realistic hope in this world of political "leaders" with the minds of adolescent boys... Somehow our "meritocracy" seems only to elevate and promote the very worst people.

1. Det blir ofte en veldig hyggelig folkefest rundt demonstrasjonene deres

Nobadda Get Hurt. Jah Tea

Denne sangen (på en Studio One riddim) handler om at vi alle må fløtte på oss- fremad alltid- og danse og dele og leve livet. Video'n er filmet med telefon og min datters selfie-stick på tre steder: Hauskvartalet, Vår Frelsers Gravlund og Bar-code. Det er for liksom å si at folka som bor på og folka som har lagt sjela si i å bygge opp de forskjellige delene av Hauskvartalet kan godt fløtte seg... Hvis de som legger igjen sjela si på bar-code vil gjøre det samme og de som hviler sjela si på Vår frelsers vil reise seg og flytte! Kultur og for den saks skyld innovasjon kan ikke bare måles i kroner. Vi må bevare våre kulturskatter og heller støtte enn å stritte imot reell innovasjon, ikke bare i kunst og underholdning men i levemåter, tenkemåter og måter å organisere oss selv på. Syns jeg :)

Ease. 54-46 riddim (includes a short clip from the film Modern...

Sometimes I feel like I am stuck in an old black & white movie. People rushing around, unnaturally fast, in a way that looks somehow anachronistic- like time hasn’t caught up with itself… Fundamental change happens long before and long after the revolution that is noted down in the history book. What history calls a revolution is actually a war of reactionary forces that are trying either to stop or control the fundamental change. Likewise in this time, we and our societies are being changed in a fundamental way but we are still waiting for the starting pistol for the revolution. Wouldn't it be wonderful if just once we could manifest a change without guns & bloodshed? I recorded this short tune and cut together some visuals yesterday afternoon (in 3,5 hours total). It doesn't really have much to do with all the above except that is what I was thinking about when I started. It is actually just for my own therapy (and trying to get the temptation to use every effect in the movieprogram out of my system) but perhaps someone appreciates the vibration. The intro is taken from Charlie Chaplin's 1936 film Modern Times, a masterpiece. I recommend everyone see it in its entirety. Don't expect the singing to be synched with the film, i am singing different tunes in the clips i used.
