The UpCap Café is a small and intimate concert series held in the downtown area of Whitby Ontario. In 2007 I made the commitment to add more music into my life.

UpCap is an acronym for Up Close And Personal, bringing audience and musicians together for a warm musical experience. I started to attend folk festivals and live shows and quickly began having jam sessions in my home. People. young and old came from all over to participate in the musical experience of sharing music. Sad sad news.... We are having to cancel this show due to illness. We so apologize for any inconvenience but we hope you will come.out to see our next show in September. We will be posting more.details down the road. Til then...

The UpCap Café is back at The Souk, 124 Dundas St. W. in Whitby, this Wednesday Aug. 14th at 7:30 pm. This concert will feature Apolline, a Celtic group from Australia, whom I met at the Route 11 Festival in PEI during the past month. Please join me for another "up close & personal" musical experience. Tickets are $20 cash only at the door. If you'd like to reserve a spot, PM me or contact The Souk directly. My Story

In 2007 I made the commitment to add more music into my life. I started to attend folk festivals and live shows and quickly began having jam sessions in my home. People, young and old came from all over to participate in the experience of sharing live music. After many years of music jams, house concerts and musical fundraisers, I decided it was time to start a concert series. I have called the concert series, The UpCap Café. UpCap is an acronym for Up Close And Personal which is what I believe any musical experience should be. The UpCap Café concert series is a musical event held at the Rawlicious Restaurant on Dundas Street in downtown Whitby inviting musical artists from all over Canada, USA as well as other countries to share their talents and songs.
