So excited to announce Huntley will be the supporting act for Brett Young on June 29 at Fort Moore for their Independence Celebration. Open to the public so come and enjoy with us.
🇺🇸 🎤🤩 SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 🤩🎤🇺🇸 Two dynamic solo artists will perform a free concert at the annual Fort Moore Independence Celebration on June 29, 2024. Festivities kick off at 4 p.m. and include military demonstrations, food vendors, children’s activities and a large fireworks display celebrating our nation’s independence.
Modern Country artist Brett Young, headlining the free concert, is set to capture hearts with his “Caliville” style. Special guest Huntley, Season 24 winner of The Voice, will captivate the crowd with his style of Southern blues and rock paired with his commanding stage presence. Black Rhino Sound, the electrifying Texas DJ, returns again this year to kick off the evening and energize the crowd.
Winner of Season 24 of The Voice, Huntley gained mass recognition for his versatile style and command on stage. Compared to the likes of Chris Stapleton and Radiohead, Huntley’s polished performances garnered him as having performed on big stages his whole life. No stranger to the music grind, Huntley earned the crown and has continued to captivate fans and audiences. Huntley’s performance is best described by coach Niall Horan “…a machine on stage, it's insane.”
From his self-titled debut in 2017, Brett Young has captured the hearts of fans everywhere through his honest lyrics and West-Coast-meets-Southern sound, aptly dubbed “Caliville” style. Pairing an impressive string of seven #1 hits like “In Case You Didn’t Know,” “Mercy” and “Sleep Without You” with multiple hit albums defined by an undeniable romantic spark, he has cemented his status as a master of matters of the heart. Young was named ACM’s New Male Artist of the Year and ASCAP’s Country Songwriter-Artist of the Year in 2018.
The 2024 Independence Celebration, presented by Kia Autosport of Columbus, will also include a Kids Zone sponsored by Headquarter Nissan, aerial demonstrations by the Silver Wings Parachute Team and Fries & Spies, 34-foot jump towers and a variety of vendors with food and beverages available for purchase.
The MCoE Band concludes the evening with a patriotic score choreographed to a large fireworks show to celebrate our nation’s independence, sponsored by Floor & Decor.
The public is invited to join our Soldiers and their families for a free concert, fireworks and more! The 2024 Fort Moore Independence Celebration starts at 4 p.m. on York Field, located on Eckel Avenue in front of McGinnis-Wickam Hall, Building 4.
