What a weekend! This potting table design was something that was in my head and I had no idea if I would be able to execute it the way I kept dreaming about it! Thank you to the absolute best crew of flower friends anyone could ask for. This weekend took everyone playing a big role. Moss, mushrooms, trees, rocks, grapevine, terra cotta, limelights and so many gorgeous flowers from local flower farms!! And I had to face reality, I like stuff - so when given the opportunity to add stuff to the potting tables, the bigger the better!
And to a family that totally trusted me to create for them, I am truly thankful!
A special thank you to who was a freelancer for me and took all of these fabulous images before he headed home!
And - you are amazing!

Getting ready for my next wedding and thinking back to this fall wedding. The details were really perfect( thank you AWED- pink bar and look the chairs lined up so perfectly) Sometimes being a “creative”, I want to skip the details and just design but design is in the details. So, the perfect placement on the staircase or the right combination of flowers and candles take time to plan, implement, install and clean up. I’m taking a deep breath and going to count candles and votives this week. I’ll probably have to color code for each event. I will hate it while I’m doing it but will be thankful that it’s done!

2023 was a year full of wonderful people trusting me to talk as I think, try to explain my vision using my hands and getting excited! So many people who love flowers or just pretty, interesting moments. Thank you to all of the people who helped me turn these crazy thoughts into realities! May 2024 bring more special people into my life and allow me to create all these things I think about and dream of creating!

I have missed painting flowers.🥰 These beauties came from gorgeous garden. I wish my experiment growing dahlias was as successful as hers. I need a step stool to cut mine that mostly bloomed one sided. I will leave them to the professionals.😜

This happens to me often with pictures of my family and also from events. I scan the pictures and choose my favorites. BUT, later on even years later, I’ll be looking at the images again and find new favorites. The ones of my children are usually an expression that they made at 2 years old and it’s still an expression I see today. With events, it’s usually something that might not seem special but years later it triggers so many memories. This picture- en mass of special hellebores, hyacinth bulb that I forced for the wedding, and the microgreens that I was obsessed with using on the tables! Also, the candlelight. It just makes me happy.
