With Emerald City Comicon this weekend, and Xmas right around the corner, figured it's mandatory to add lighting to my Rebel Trooper ;) Cheap RGB strip lighting fed through clear hose and O2 mask.

Quick demolding video of my Trapper mask. Trapper mask cast in Smooth-On Smoothcast 305. Silicone is Moldstar 15 with and epoxacoat/epoxamite, with fiber matting, mother shell. I was trying to be all cool and show off a friends commission, note I had not glued the lens on yet, and then it was funny ;p

I wasn't happy with my version 1 det with certain aspects of operation and magnets. So I rebuilt it from the ground up to be better. These now operate with twisting the base to turn it on/off and will have the magnet installed on the bottom. I'll be dropping the red lens in more and curving it better to fit the look.
