We had a lovely 80th birthday lunch to do Sunday so would like to thank Alison and Brian for getting in touch 🙏
They had our home smoked salmon with pickled vegetables, crab "toastie" & horseradish pannacotta then a ballotine of chicken stuffed with stornoway black pudding and apricot then lemon curd parfait with treacle tart for dessert.

Good morning. Just over half way through a cracking busy month. Like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who dined with us this year very much appreciated 🙏 Hopefully you'll all be raring to go again next year 🥳 Remember you don't need an occasion just the love of good food and great company 🤩 as Matt and Helena did last week having Ballotine of salmon, Rump of lamb and a twist on xmas pudding 😋

Karl and AnnMarie along with their friends from Duloch Park chose Salmon to start then roast pheasant then a wee take on xmas pudding with Brandy butter, clementine jelly, cinnamon parfait, choc and hazelnut mousse, glazed meringue 😋

We get asked now and again do we do vegetarian and vegan dishes... yes we do. So this post will have a couple of the ones that are on offer. One is Miso carrot, white bean hummus, chimmichuri sauce and spiced dukkha or our Roast cauliflower with lentil dhal, charred leek, yoghurt, pickled mustard seeds & coriander oil 😋

Well we're heading straight into game season now my favourite time of year 😃 not for weather unfortunately but for the produce. Popped into my favourite game dealer to see Sandor@ Kingdom Game Butcher and Game Dealer@Woodlea Farm and got some smk cured mallard duck breast and wood pigeon 😎 I did a starter with the duck and a main course with the pigeon 🤩 both dishes available when you book a nice relaxed, informal dinner party in the comfort of your own home anywhere in Fife !

Remember you don't have to go out just give us a call an we come to you. Get in touch to discuss a menu then we pencil in your date ! You'll also save a fortune on wine 😍 and you won't need a baby sitter should you have kids...win win 😎 Went to a nice little Deli in Dunfermline the other day called "Must be Crackers" (brilliant name 😃) and bought a couple of ingredients (get along and try it it's on the High St)..a nice cured pork loin and a nice Irish cheese called Templegall (comte like in texture) then put together a very simple dish with pickled vegetables, smk almond and egg yolk jam 😋
You can order this dish for a starter when you book your dinner party along with our dessert Salted caramel praline, chocolate tuile, chocolate cremeaux, creme fraiche and orange caramel !

Here's a menu that may tempt you.
To start... Crab "lasagne" with pea pesto, caper & raisin puree, seaweed cracker and chive butter sauce...for main course Lamb loin with crisp lamb belly, roast garlic emulsion, black olive puree, confit potato, tenderstem brocolli and butternut squash then for dessert....a twist on....you ready....."Trifle" 😉

Good morning. You don't have to be a carnivore to enjoy our food 🤩 Stacey and Colin did vegetarian for their 10th wedding anniversary 🥰 They tucked into Heritage tomatoes with tomato jelly, whipped feta, green olive tapenade and parmesan crackling then Spiced cauliflower steak, asparagus, dhukka, French bean tempura, mushroom & thyme sauce and champ croquette then devoured our version of "Rocky Road" 😋.
So if you have any occasion to dine anywhere in Fife we have a vast selection of dishes that inc vegan and vegetarian.
Book to avoid disappointment !

Hardly getn time to post these days 😵‍💫 It's been a busy period with more to come 🤩 If you want to book a dinner party for any reason anywhere in Fife get in touch. Remember we have loads of dishes to choose from inc vegan and vegetarian at a fantastic price.
One of our non meat dishes was on show at the weekend which was a King oyster mushroom with "truffled" goats curd, garlic emulsion, beetroot & apple reduction and pumpkin seed crumb. Lobster for main and tasty local berries with vanilla cream, mango sauce and tuile biscuit 😋

A menu for vegan/vegetarians is now available...c'mon carnivores you can try it too !
To start a Tempura of tenderstem brocolli, mushrooms a la grecue, white bean hummus and a jalapeño & apple relish then for main course.... Spiced cauliflower steak, hazelnut & sage pesto, crispy pickled shallot ring, onion petals filled with smk celeriac, charred asparagus and carrot ketchup and to finish Roast Rhubarb and ginger compote, yoghurt sorbet, pineapple tuile, apricot gel and pistachio crumble 😯

My name is Raymond Millar, I am a Professional Chef based in Kirkcaldy and started my business after seeing a niche in the market for Private Dining.

After many years working behind the scenes in fine country houses and hotels throughout the UK, it is nice to be familiar with clients and bring some of the culinary delights into your home or business.

I personally source all fresh food, prepare, cook, deliver or serve to your diners, ensuring the highest standards of presentation and flavour thus creating a dining experience which will include your own finishing touches.

I can create bespoke menus after a discussion with yourselves and ideally provide this service from six diners upwards!! (There are of course exceptions!!)
