Hardly getn time to post these days 😵‍💫 It's been a busy period with more to come 🤩 If you want to book a dinner party for any reason anywhere in Fife get in touch. Remember we have loads of dishes to choose from inc vegan and vegetarian at a fantastic price.
One of our non meat dishes was on show at the weekend which was a King oyster mushroom with "truffled" goats curd, garlic emulsion, beetroot & apple reduction and pumpkin seed crumb. Lobster for main and tasty local berries with vanilla cream, mango sauce and tuile biscuit 😋

A menu for vegan/vegetarians is now available...c'mon carnivores you can try it too !
To start a Tempura of tenderstem brocolli, mushrooms a la grecue, white bean hummus and a jalapeño & apple relish then for main course.... Spiced cauliflower steak, hazelnut & sage pesto, crispy pickled shallot ring, onion petals filled with smk celeriac, charred asparagus and carrot ketchup and to finish Roast Rhubarb and ginger compote, yoghurt sorbet, pineapple tuile, apricot gel and pistachio crumble 😯

Well I have to say we stumbled across this fantastic little restaurant here in Zante right in the middle of all the touristy ones. It was hidden to be fair with only a menu outside almost covered with tree branches. Waiting on a bus to go into Zakynthos Thursday (and it was a wait 😅) I decided to read the small menu and knew we wer going to have a cracking meal which we did last night 🤩 Marlen is the name. Should any of you be coming to Zante for your hols then stick this one on your to do list. There's more than enough restaurants doing gyros, lasagne, souvlakis, tzatziki etc. Marlen focuses on pure quality locally sourced products from the island and Greece 😍 I'll leave you with 3 of the 8 dishes we tried 😵‍💫
A cured pork dish then an orzo dish with chanterelle and truffle then a cuttlefish dish...all very tasty 👏
If you're not coming to Zante then just book a dinner party with us and I'll try and reproduce them 🙏

We had an ecstatic crew at our latest dinner party over the weekend celebrating Claires big Five-0 🥰 They sat down to Smk mackeral "rillettes" to start then the ever popular loin of venison for main course and our dish we did for them requesting apple....so we did pressed apple terrine, apple tuile, miso caramel sce, hazelnut crumble, compressed apple and salt caramel ice cream 🤩 everything went down a treat 🙏.

An all fish menu was requested last week for Kenny and his friends up playing golf.
So we put together a menu of Tartare of salmon then a crab dish followed by a cod dish. You can have any of these dishes or a choice of many others if you give us a call then choose your date for a dinner party in your own home anywhere in Fife for any occasion!

Got another quality piece of venison from Kingdom Game at Woodlea Farm thank you Sandor. Love this product. Never managed to convince anyone to have "tartare" certainly beef or venison but a gentleman at last week's dinner party plucked up the courage and gave it a go 😃 and thankfully he enjoyed it 🙏
Another venison dish that goes down well is pan fried loin, dauphinoise potato, maple butter roasted carrot and red cabbage puree.

Good morning. Busy weekend coming as is most of March 😃. Thank you to all for enquires and bookings very much appreciated 🙏.
Our featured dishes this week are a Beetroot Royale with smoked salmon, truffled potato, radish, apple and caper then a wild rabbit dish( the rabbit from Sandor at Kingdom Game at Woodlea Farm ) cracking produce ...came trio style with stuffed loin (apricot and watercress), rillette of leg and a little rack with salt baked turnip, sweet 'n' sour beetroot, carrot and vanilla puree....then a take on an old classic Pear belle Helene...poached pear, carmelised filo, chocolate cremeux, apple gel and meringue 😋 Remember if you want to have these dishes at your dinner party for any occasion call us on 07743 937178 to arrange a date.

Pan fried pork belly with braised pigs cheek, black onion gel, celeriac "choucroute", smk hasselback potato and haggis bon bon and then a dessert we did for a burns supper last week...Cranachan pannacotta with honey and oatmeal tuile and raspberries.

Well it's here as promised...a budget conscious menu for Jan and Feb ONLY ! Its a tough time after Xmas and all these extra charges put on us from every angle so to make sure you can still afford one of life's luxuries we are offering a 3 course meal with canapés all in the comfort of your own home for any occasion anywhere in Fife ! The menu is....
Pressed chicken and ham hock terrine with pickled apple gel, pea pesto, shimeji mushroom, carrot ketchup and crispy chicken skin then for main course stuffed fillet of plaice topped with pancetta and chive crumb, charred baby gem, "truffled" cauliflower puree, roast leek, smoked fish veloute and hasselback potato and to finish Vanilla pannacotta, compote of apple and pear, treacle gel and pistachio crumble 😋
Minimum 6 persons and no changes on menu.
The giveaway price is £30 per head 😯

Chilly cold one this morning. Well we have 1 more to do in 2023. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who had a dinner party with us this year very much appreciated 🙏
Last weekend we did one in Dalgety Bay and they chose my 2 favourite proteins...Scallops and Venison 😋 the venison was from Kingdom Game at Woodlea Farm Shop and as always they delivered a quality produce very tender and super tasty 👍(their pork sausage fantastic too).
The scallops from G and J Wilson were spanking fresh and lovely size.
I'll leave you with the pictures which also includes a Pannetone bread and butter pudding with carmelised banana, vanilla ice cream, butterscotch sauce and pecans.

Been a cracking busy weekend 😃George along with his family and friends thoroughly enjoyed his retirement come Xmas dinner 🙏 sitting down to Tartare of beetroot cured salmon, smk salmon mousse, cauliflower and "truffle" puree then requested a roast for main course...Roast loin of pork and pork belly, braised red cabbage, parsnip puree and pomme chateux then a Pain Perdu with maple glazed pineapple, coconut sorbet, lime caramel, pistachio and white chocolate crumb.
Well we are now on the last week before the big day 🙈 so hope your all organised with your pressies. If not why not treat family, friends or loved ones to a dinner party in their own home for any occasion anywhere in Fife 👍

It's a busy schedule just now...full on 😍 If you haven't booked a dinner party for sometime in December yet I'm afraid space is limited now. A cracking party over the weekend in Aberdour. Grant and Rebbeca had Crispy King prawn, pea pesto, brown crab mayo, pickled quail egg and sourdough along with avocado creme fraiche then went for a winter warmer of Braised ox cheek, dauphinoise potato and dessert was a favourite of Brandy snap, poached pear, white chocolate, pecan crumb and lip smacking salted caramel butterscotch sauce....oooft 😋

Well what a treat this was 😃 The guys at Kingdom Game at Woodlea Farm came up with one of th UK's rare game birds...the fantastic Woodcock 🙏 This was definitely a treat as this one is not the cheapest.
But should Sandor and his team come up with any then go and treat yourself it was delicious 😋.
Thanks also to Andy at Greenheart Growers and Malcolm at Fresh Express Produce.
Here I kept it as seasonal as possible...roasted on bone, confited the leg, crushed "truffled" jerusalem artichoke, salt baked beetroot, pickled brambles, boulangere potato and glazed chestnut !

Morning it's a chilly one 😯 Got some mallard duck breast again from the guys at Kingdom Game at Woodlea Farm for a dinner party last week and it went down a treat 😍

My name is Raymond Millar, I am a Professional Chef based in Kirkcaldy and started my business after seeing a niche in the market for Private Dining.

After many years working behind the scenes in fine country houses and hotels throughout the UK, it is nice to be familiar with clients and bring some of the culinary delights into your home or business.

I personally source all fresh food, prepare, cook, deliver or serve to your diners, ensuring the highest standards of presentation and flavour thus creating a dining experience which will include your own finishing touches.

I can create bespoke menus after a discussion with yourselves and ideally provide this service from six diners upwards!! (There are of course exceptions!!)
