Our Story

Featuring originally produced countdowns of Top 40 charts from the 1950's through the 1970's. Specialty shows and themed salutes from the era. Hosted largely by veteran broadcaster Bob Mathers with occasional guest appearances from heritage oldies personalities from around the world.

Ultimate Oldies Radio was conceived in February, 1999 by Mathers and IT Cold Fusion expert James Williams. It was decided to create a website for promoting the history of the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s through the music and news of those times. Our website www.ultimateoldiesradio.com offers new and classic shows each Saturday for free listening. Our Archives Club gives oldies listeners an opportunity to access well over 400 shows (and growing) on-demand, at any time. Details are available in the Archives section of the website.
