Hi Everyone, If you follow our page you will have seen our notice about future events at the village hall. On it you will see that there will be a Christmas Party on December 7th with craft stalls. If there is anybody who is interested in having a stall on the night, there will be a minimal charge of £10 per stall as a contribution to village hall funds. Please let me know if you are interested and I will reserve you a stall table. Many thanks, Heather

Just a reminder that we have an event at Church in Grafton tonight. There will be an illustrated talk on the amazing true story of Ernest Shackleton's attempt to be the first to cross the Antarctic on foot in 1914 "By Endurance We Conquer". To be held at St James Church, Grafton Underwood on Friday, 31st May at 6.30pm for 7pm start. Tickets just £5 with bar and snacks available at reasonable prices. Pay at the door. All proceeds to go to St James' Church fundraising.

We are getting bookings for our Curry Night & Quiz on Saturday, 6th April at the village hall. Please book your tickets as soon as possible so that we can cater for numbers on the night and we will be limited to how many we can seat! Lots of different curries will be available including veggie options. Bar open on night for wine, beer and spirits. Tickets £10 each. We are sorry to say that the proposed Christmas Party in the Village has been cancelled for this coming Saturday 9th December , we hope you won’t be too disappointed.
We would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and look forward to seeing you in 2024 with our first event being in March.

We will be welcoming The Harpenden Busker to entertain us tomorrow at Sunday's Cream Teas at Grafton Village Hall. Cream Teas, Musical entertainment and hopefully an afternoon of sunshine ☀️ Cream Teas are still only £4 each with our special homemade scones, clotted cream and jam. We hope you can join us tomorrow on the 20th August 2023.

It is that time of year again at Grafton Church when we look to putting together the Samaritan's Purse Shoeboxes for their Operation Christmas Child Appeal. We are looking for empty shoeboxes and items for them please. Jenny Daykin is co-ordinating the collection of boxes again this year and items are very welcome asap. If you don't know what to give or just want more information you can visit their website here

A small shoebox can have a big impact. What goes into the box is fun, but what comes out of it is eternal. Be a part of changing children’s lives all over the world in Jesus’ name through the power of a simple gift.

We had a wonderful turnout for our first Cream Teas for 2022. Thank you to everybody who came to support us. Thank you, too, to the team for making scones, brewing & serving teas/coffees, clearing tables and washing up! We are also selling our Cream Teas Raffle Tickets at each event. The draw will be held on the last Sunday 28th August. Fundraising in aid of St James Church, Grafton Underwood. The attached picture shows all our wonderful prizes available. Tickets can be purchased from Jenny Daykin and at each of our Cream Tea Events.

The 2022 Church Fundraising Concerts begin next week with the return of the amazing Wellingborough Community Gospel Choir at Grafton Underwood Church next Saturday, 14th May 2022. The last time they sang for us in 2019 we had a full house and it felt like they lifted the roof off the church with their wonderful singing & performance, so please arrive early! Start time 7.30pm.
