When I heard about "Make the Season Kind" nominations. I immediately thought of Heather and Len Mullins. Their kindness turned chemo days from dread to anticipation by sending cheeseburger platters and dessert for me and the kids.
With the help of Maddie Read, Amy Joy, and Mike Simms from Darcie and I were able to thank Heather and Len on-air. We thanked a few others too like Lynda, Tracey, and Toni for their fundraisers and support and shared memories of some lighter moments amongst otherwise very dark times.
I also expressed my gratitude to and the NL Women's Cancer Conference for their support in my recovery and how I'm really excited to start paying it forward and helping others in their cancer journeys as well.

Having been settled in the 17th Century, Greenspond is one of the oldest continuously inhabited outports in Newfoundland, Canada. Greenspond Courthouse still flies the Union Jack and was started in the late 1800's, with St.Stephen's Anglican Church tucked into the background.
