I went to the store last week and I saw this lady that I usually see in the supermarket on a regular basis. But for some reason that day she stopped and talked to me about food. She got on the subject of eating out in restaurants. She stated that her ex-husband worked at several restaurants and told her the things that these people were doing in the kitchen with YOUR food!!!!
#1- They would take a steak (that had not been touched by the previous customer) back to the kitchen, fix and trim it up, put it back on the grill and serve it to the next person. If you see 2 steaks that's suppose to be one think of this. #2 - Salad. They don't wash it, they just dump it straight out the bag. They take leftover and reuse it for the next customer. They also would spit in the salad and mix it up (just for fun) and once it's served they'll look out from the kitchen to watch and see when you eat it and start laughing. #3 - For those that send their orders back, forget it because they drop it on the floor, rub the food on the bottom of their shoe, spit on it and rub the food on the rim of the toilet. She said her ex husband told her that she better not ever eat in another restaurant as long as she lives. I wasn't surprised at this, not at all!!! I worked in a bakery and one of the bakers dropped a block of butter on the mice infested floor. Wellllll, he picked up the butter, plopped into the bowl and proceeded as usual without any concern, none whatsoever. This is one of the reasons why I DO NOT eat out. I make my own because at least I know it's clean, uncontaminated and free of someone else's body fluids!!!
STOP EATING OUT NOT KNOWING WHAT'S IN YOUR FOOD!!!
