Our Mission
Hands-on House, Children's Museum of Lancaster is a not-for-profit educational center whose mission is to create and provide interactive learning opportunities for all children and their families through self-directed exhibits and programming that stimulate curiosity and invite the joy of discovery through play.

The Hands-on House Races is on Saturday September 28, 2024. It includes the following events: 1/2 Marathon, 10K, 5K, and Kids Fun Run.

Group visits are for groups of 15-75 people (including adults and kids).

Today was Mrs. Will’s last day at Hands-on House ❤️ In her 24 years here she’s touched the lives of *thousands* of children through classes and outreach programs. Anyone who has met her knows that she has a radiant presence and a gift for designing the MOST creative and immersive curriculum.
The museum won’t be quite the same without her, but we are so grateful for the amazing legacy she’s left behind! (We’re totally counting down the days until she stops back in for a visit 💕)

On Tuesday, April 13, Hands-on House will celebrate Mason Georgelis, by offering free admission from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. to honor what would have been his 15th birthday.
