Many people tend to dismiss the accomplishments of Russell and Wilt as they played in an era when there were only 11 teams in the NBA. However, I believe this is a backward way of thinking! Just imagine if there were only 11 teams in the league today; the quality of basketball would be much higher, as only the best of the best would be playing. In such a scenario, winning 8 straight championships like Russell did, or 11 championships like he did, with all the stats Wilt had, would be almost impossible! That's why anyone who doesn't include Russell or Wilt in their top ten is foolish!
