Where do you plan to take your ?

Here are a few things I've learnt about the location:

• ensure it's convenient to all involved in the process,

• choose an area you are familiar with, to avoid unpalatable surprises,

• ensure you have proper permissions to be in the area,

• communicate necessary details with the photographer, so they know how to plan for lighting, capture angles and other concerns,

• choose a location that amplifies your mutual preferences and interests.

Have you ever forgotten to thank someone (or people)?

Yeah...not a good feeling!😕 There's nothing like seating down after a and then remembering that you left someone or somepeople out.

Soon it's going to be your turn on the microphone as a couple, time to express your gratitude for the day.

This might be something you want to create a script for also. Here are 5 groups of people to thank:

*Family - Parents (pseudoparents), siblings and other dear family members

* Friends - especially bridal party members, if applicable

* Guests - appreciate people who have stood out and showed up exceptionally

* Vendors - appreciate their craft, presence and commitment

* Yourselves - you've both put up with each other through wedding planning. Appreciate your spouse for who they are, what they mean to you and the life you hope to share together.

Remember to keep it short, light, merry and warm.

Let's talk about being true to yourself and having a that caters to your preferences and personalities.

I worked with this wonderful couple and they opted to serve ethnic meals at their reception. It was original and a true match for who they were - foodies!...lol

If you know , you'll know that there are certain meals best eaten in the comfort of your home, and 3/4 of the items on this list fall into that category.

Sadly I didn't get to eat, but the cake made up for it.

Thinking out of the box applies to too and when the trusts their , beautiful things happen...like this unusual .

The was really wide and could end up being too large for the guest count, so I suggested a design that filled the space more, and kept the guests and in view of each other.

It was a good decision, and not so common too!
