So as you know we lost Kev our guitarist and friend to covid 2 years ago this January 😔, we didn't think we'd carry on , but we thought give it 1 rehearsal & see how it goes . Luckily a close friend stood in as he knew our songs . It's gone so well we thought we'd make him permanent. Our new guitarist Jordan Witts 🤘🎅👍!!! All going well we'll be out playing early spring

SH2022 - Official charity news!

After handing over the 'big cheque' to Torfaen and Blaenau Gwent MIND last week, we are extremely pleased to announce the Steelhouse chosen charity 2022...

The Ieuan The Lion Memorial Fund was set up in 2009 by Wayne and Rosemary Yendle in memory of their son, Ieuan, who after a heroic fight, sadly died on 3rd July 2007 at the tender age of 13 from an undiagnosed illness.

Their objective is to support families throughout Wales who are caring for a Terminally ill Child/Young Person. The Memorial Fund offers free holidays in a luxury holiday home, designed specifically to accommodate guests with disabilities. The space gives the child and family a break from the stress and difficult, day-to-day realities of diagnosis, treatment, and endless care.

Over the years, Wayne has been a Steelhouse regular. The courage, commitment and compassion he and Rosemary have shown by setting up such a fantastic initiative in the wake of unimaginable loss, we think, is truly amazing...
