☕🎃Good morning boos & ghouls! 😉 Only 25 more days until Halloween! So far, we've baked Halloween cookies three times & watched Hero's favorites, Hotel Transylvania 2, Curious George Halloween, & Magic Kingdom Halloween Fireworks show countless times! We love the holidays here at Casa De Rosa. I'm definitely looking forward to the holiday season 🙏🏾 I'm praying for calmness, good health, love in the air, and peace (especially after this upcoming election) during the next three months🙌🏿 Will you all pray with me friends?💪🏿🧡

🍩 anyone?Except..these donuts are NOT real! 😲 Guys I am just extremely happy & proud of myself, because for a very long time, a goal as an artist was to master the art of making Faux Desserts for my displays & home decor. I did alot of researching, studying, watching & taking notes from a few of my favorite artists & IG artists who sculpt. And finally, last week....I took a leap of faith, purchased my supplies, read my notes, & then I hand sculpted my first set of donuts! 🙌🏿😄 It took 3 days for them to dry before I completed the next steps. These donuts (and a faux cake, but that comes later) were created in a span of 6 days. I'm so happy with the results & I'm very proud that I get to cross off this goal on my bucket list 👍🏿🙌🏿 Stay tuned because these donuts will be part of my Halloween decor. I can't wait to share more with you all! Thank you to everyone who showered me with love after viewing my stories last night ❤️🍩🧚🏿‍♀️

✊🏾🖤❤💚 My heart is full...like I can't even explain it. Today was awesome. I wish that my grandparents were here with me today because what a time we live in, but I know that they are so proud of me, along with my ancestors. Today was historic and I'm just so blessed to be apart of history. Thank you to all of my friends in and out of business that came to support me, .sauna , , , & . in Quarantine. We stood indoors & made the best of our day with our George Forman grill👍🏾😉😁😄We grilled some burgers, hotdogs, and made shrimp skewers! Memorial day is more than just a cookout or reason to party for this family. We have ancestors, including my grandfather, who served in the military, so Memorial Day is a proud day for us to remember & honor them. To me, yesterday was also about saluting those who serve tirelessly on this Covid19 Frontline, like my father. My heart sinks, but I'm always humbled when I see him in a mask, shield, & wearing protective gear. People complain about wearing a mask for 30minutes (I am guilty of that too) & there are many who wear them all day. Just like the soldiers on the battlefield in the heat or cold, they take the proper precautions to help and serve this country. While many in the United States felt the need to end Covid on their own terms on yesterday; by not wearing masks or crowding areas in groups of over 25 people, I chose to stay home to honor our Heroes and flatten the curve. Sure there's nothing wrong with a little fresh air, but some people just don't care. We're all in this together, but we all have to be smart & do our part. Stop complaining about wearing masks. Stop complaining about NOT having graduations, when there were many who couldn't have funerals or father's who were NOT allowed to attend their child's birth. 👍🏾 @ Jersey City, New Jersey

👈🏾 Today during virtual church service, my uncle was the soloist & he sung a song titled "It Belongs To Me". That beautiful song resonated with me so much that while he was still singing, I began sketching & writing the words of all things that I feel belong to me, in my journal. I'm claiming what's mine even in this pandemic & for the rest of 2020: Peace, belongs to me. Love, belongs to me. Strength, belongs to me. It all belongs to me. I prayed it, I believe it, and I receive it in Jesus name- Amen🙏🏾😊 @ Jersey City, New Jersey

Nothing is the same. Life as we know it has been slammed on its head and the entire planet is still dizzy. But today, as a family, we celebrate a small, but important victory -- for the first time in 2 months we have stepped outside as a unit. For the past 2 months I've done the bulk of grocery shopping and my wife has only stepped outside maybe 3 or 4 times...but our son, Hero has remained still, almost paralyzed by the fear of the unknown. He'd kick and scream, cry, and run away whenever we mentioned wearing a mask. This morning he woke up and said, "Daddy, I go to Target" (🤣🤦‍♂️)...I then explained that we do not leave the house without a mask, and if we do step outside he must listen to our instructions carefully to stay safe -- to our shock, he agreed...then quickly pushed us to get dressed lol We went to Target (Hero & Mommy's happy-place 😂) and then picked up some groceries; Hero wore his mask the entire day without a single complaint -- I am so very proud of him. Small victories are huge victories in this season.

Today is day, & today we honor two very important men in our lives on the Frontline; G-Pop Anthony (my dad) & Grandpa Fireworks, Bob (my father in love) 🙏🏾💪🏾⛑️👨🏻‍🚒👨🏿‍⚕️ I'm not going to lie on here. I've been worried for my father who works around Covid19 patients every day. My insomnia is at an all time high. Hero has his moments where he just stares out the window and calls out the names of his grandparents. He misses them dearly. But prayer and making memories while we are on quarantine sustains me. Our daily video calls make us all happy. I now realize that before Covid19, I didn't give enough hugs to our fathers. We hugged, but now I feel like we didn't hugged enough. So when this is all over, just prepare yourselves because I'm going to be the most annoying hugger! Because right now I need them.. and I can't wait to give them to both of my fathers, siblings, and family members. So for now here's a virtual smile from our Hero. Be safe y'all and when you say a prayer, please say one for Anthony (Nursing home supervisor) & Robert ( FDNY )👍🏾❤️😊

👾Good morning little Monsters😉 Happy Tuesday. My little guy (with assistance from Rob) made us some chocolate covered Rice Krispy monsters on yesterday 😉 Once this quarantine is over & I start taking orders again, I think I'll hire him as my treats maker. I could pay him in hugs & kisses, but he already has his own personal savings in his Marshmallow Man bank 😂 So he might be looking for his quarters & a dollar! 🤷🏽‍♀️He's invested in his future and I love it🙌🏾 Teach them young 👍🏾💙

Happy Thankful Thursday friends. How are you guys holding up? For the last three days I've been so tired due to insomnia, but last night I slept like a baby & woke up well rested. I guess it was just one of those weeks for me. I am thankful for this beautiful day, safe inside with my two guys. The NEW Trolls World Tour movie & soundtrack has been keeping the Rosas in a happy mood this week. Hero has been dancing and singing non-stop! Rob & I are so happy to see him happy through all of this. If you guys haven't seen the new or the first Trolls movie, then this is the time to do so! It will instantly change your mood & make you so happy😁 @ Downtown Jersey City, Jersey City
