💯 locally grown posies, thanks to Little Beeches Farm 🌸

Florists with a year-round offering (me!) couldn’t do what we do without our wonderful wholesalers of imported flowers, esp out of British growing season - but what a joy it is to go to a local grower ( is all of 5 mins drive from me) and select, cut, condition and create with 100% locally grown flowers

A delicate, lightweight indoor arch to frame the ceremony area for Laure & Diarmuid We opted to focus the floral decor on just two corners, and I loved this clean yet gardeny look… Hydrangea, gorgeous tall delphinium, roses, nigella on a backdrop of textured, wiggly greenery 🌱

Hannah & George’s wedding ceremony was held in the Club Room at The Bedford. I added pretty, soft white pew ends, bud vases and vase arrangements to brighten the space, but I’m not convinced they were really needed as all eyes were on H & G 🤩😍

For the reception I decorated the round guest tables with low vase arrangements in whites & greens, and repurposed the pew ends, turning them into bud vase posies, combined with hydrangea heads along the top table 🤍

Textured whites and greens went into the bouquet for beautiful bride Hannah, with several rose varieties, hydrangea and orlaya. And for the buttonholes, I used spray roses, teeny buds of nigella, orlaya and delphinium with sprigs of pistache, olive and eucalyptus.

Such a gorgeous day working with the wonderful team at The Bedford 🌟

Pedestals to mark the ceremony for Leah & James at the Amadeus 🩷

They stayed in place for the wedding breakfast, and then framed the band as they played for the party 🪩

Pink parrot tulips, soft pink roses, peach and apricot ranunculus, larkspur, icelandic poppies, anemones, ginestra, viburnum and trails of jasmine 🌸

Totally foam free, using chicken wire and moss for hydration. When I took them apart the next morning every stem was still beautifully fresh and perky 😁

Spring bud vases for alcoves and windowsills during the ceremony, and then for long guest tables , dotted amongst ’ beautiful sharing platters.

White and green - either with lots of seasonal texture, or pure & simple single variety - is always a beautiful, classic choice for a bridal bouquet.

These pictures show bouquets from various times of year, with ingredients differing depending on the season - in the warmer months you might have white peonies, sweetpeas, phlox, ammi, cosmos, orlaya… and in winter you could opt for thistle, anemones, ranunculus, roses, hypericum berries, silvery acacia & eucalyptus foliage. All beautiful, coming together to create very different effects and looks within the white & green scheme 🤍

I had so much fun creating the brilliant ’ flowers for her beautiful winter wedding to Guido, just before Christmas.

Wintery whites and textured greenery for bouquets, buttonholes and aisle lanterns, which then became table centres and alcove decor for the reception & party.
