✨Jimmy Garcia Catering at the Design Museum ✨

Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of delivering some truly standout events at the Design Museum, a venue that never stops inspiring us with its striking architecture, versatility and creative energy.

We’ve catered a 500 guest Soirée Suisse reception, a design led lunch for Canva in the Design Kitchen and created a bold Mailchimp branded canapé reception.

We’ve brought to life a series of immersive Tim Burton dinners and canapé receptions, delivered a two level, fully vegan dinner for Lewis Hamilton’s incredible charity Mission 44 and produced a two floor Swarovski dinner featuring our signature swan dessert. We’ve also partnered with Fred Perry on a memorable event within the museum’s unique spaces.

Alongside these, we supported a three day conference with daily lunches served outside in the beautiful garden, making full use of the museum’s indoor outdoor flow, and curated a beautiful wedding that showcased just how magical and transformative the venue can be.

Iconic, flexible and full of possibility, the Design Museum remains one of our favourite places to create unforgettable food experiences. It’s always an honour to bring the Jimmy Garcia Catering touch to this extraordinary venue. ✨

Our dessert collection celebrates the richness of the season, with ingredients carefully chosen at their peak to create layered flavours and textures. Each creation is crafted to be savoured slowly, offering warmth, indulgence, and a touch of winter luxury.

🍫Spiced Caramel Sphere
Spiced caramel, flourless cocoa sponge, milk chocolate crémeux, chocolate mousse, glazed with chocolate and gold leaf - indulgence with a subtle warmth of spice.

🍯 Pear & London Honey
Pear curd, honey mascarpone mousse, milk chocolate crémeux, pear gel, honeycomb tuile - gentle sweetness with layered textures, golden and comforting.

🍇 Hazelnut & Blackberry Entremet
Blackberry compote, hazelnut praline, vanilla mousse, hazelnut sponge - a harmony of nutty crunch and fruity brightness.

🍏 Apple & Quince Caramel
Caramelised apple & quince chutney, caramel crémeux, caramel sponge, caramelised chocolate mousse, caramel glaze, quince gel - rich, golden, and comforting.

Our new collection of mains celebrates the best of the season. Ingredients thoughtfully sourced, in their peak, and used with care to highlight natural flavour and texture.

From slow roasted roots to earthy brassicas, rich game, and winter greens, each plate is designed to let the produce shine. Sustainability meets refinement, with flavours that unfold slowly and comfort that feels intentional.

As summer fades, we’re embracing the autumn harvest: onions, squash, pears, pumpkin, sprouts, apples, quince and blackberries, all in season now and on our AW25 menu.

From pumpkin pie galettes to cheese & onion croustades, artichoke & sprout tarts, and blackberry & hazelnut entremets, every dish is a taste of the season.🥮

In Season This August 🍅🌿🌽

As July draws to a close, we’re leaning into the richness of the late summer harvest, and every ingredient on our SS25 menu reflects what’s at its peak here in the UK.

Heritage tomatoes, sweetcorn, peas, fennel, beetroot, rosemary, summer squash, and British beef are all in season now, and all starring in dishes crafted to celebrate this moment.🍽️

From our heritage tomato tart with hazelnut and preserved wild garlic, to the pea and shisho kataifi tartlet with fresh peas🫛, the summer squash with hazelnut dukkah and La Latteria stracciatella, and the sweetcorn tapioca crisp with charred corn, chilli, corn purée, and vegan herb emulsion - every plate is a tribute to vibrant British produce and thoughtful summer cooking.
