If you are wondering what luxury means to me, I believe: To be immersed in a luxury event is an opportunity to take part in an experience that exceeds your expectations. Luxury for me is the gift of ease and comfort.
It's detail season. Spring is the season of details. The new blooms emerge at different times to showcase themselves as the other parts of nature will soon join in and come together to create the showcase of a beautiful masterpiece forming what we call nature.

Today is the International Day of Happiness and I decided to celebrate! 6 months ago, I lost my mom. And all I can say is there is no preparation for what comes after. I was aware that she would be leaving but it was not until her earthly presence was gone that I felt the void. So, as I stand here today, I am filled with gratitude towards the universe for the kind gestures it sent as gentle affirmations that I would be ok. 9/12/23 was the last time I shared a post about taking your dreams seriously because life is so precious. 9/13/23 I received the call of my mother's passing. During this time, I have chosen stillness. Today 10/10 is her birthday and I am filled with Joy and Happiness that I had the opportunity to experience her. She was the true definition of a Renaissance Woman and "Be the Sunshine" to others. She is the reason I am who I am today, a Creative Entrepreneur. Although I am sad and I miss her, I am truly grateful that I was able to spend life with her. She created a legacy that will live on although she is no longer with us. life is precious and the time is now to chase your dreams, push past boundaries or just tell someone that you care.

Dreams are more than just a financial return. Taking time for things that your heart desires are dreams. It's a way of telling our soul "I love you". Waiting for the right time is procrastination. When I travel I love to experience what each region has to offer. Saint Lucia truly left an imprint in my soul. She reminded me of all the natural beauty there was to embody. She imparted a spirit of PEACE that I have never felt during travel. Her gracious feminine energy was unselfishly shared. Pair this with celebrating the life of my great husband, priceless!!

Celebrating yourself no matter how big or small is so important. Many times, along my journey I did not celebrate or acknowledge the little things. I would just say that is what I'm supposed to do. That way of thinking led me to imposter syndrome. When it was time for bigger things, I didn't feel I deserved them. When I began to celebrate my accomplishments as a mom, wife, friend and designer, my mindset shifted. I then understood how important the small ways to honor and celebrate myself were to the whole goal. I added this practice into my routine. When designing I knew how important the small details were to the outcome of the full design plan, but I didn't correlate the similarities of life and design. Let's find ways to honor and celebrate ourselves to build belief and confidence within us that no one else can give you. How will you celebrate yourself?
