The last time I was in New York was in 2016 - my fresh, college graduate self thought I was coming up to scope out where I’d live, soak up the city how the locals do, and begin to live out some dreams (back then, I was still a news producer).

Just as life goes, I’d come home to Florida, move in with my parents while I sorted out my future in distant cities - and then, I met my now husband.

Dreams changed for the better. I’d figured out news wasn’t even for me, got a job in Florida instead, and before I knew it a little hobby of mine had turned into a full blown career.

Seven years later, I’ve found myself with different dreams and goals, none of which involve living in NYC. I’d never planned on settling down here (does anyone really ~plan~ on that?) but that past dream of mine still has a little spark deep down and coming back here, walking around, no GPS, no real agenda, headphones in, AND getting to photograph couples in love in this inspiring city…

Okay y’all, one of these carousel slides has NINE photos on it and I still couldn’t fit all the images I wanted in 10 frames 🫠

I’ve heard lots of coastal photographers say they get “tired” of the beach. Can’t relate. I love exploring new places as much as the next. But I gotta say, no beach session has ever been the same for me. So many color combinations all within one hour. From golden hues to blue, with some flash at the end just for fun.

And that’s not even counting all the different possible weather scenarios. How could you get tired of that?!

And the best part (depending on what beach you use)…every angle has a great background. Ocean, dunes, both? Embrace the beaches people 🌊

I didn’t know my soul needed reviving until this morning but man oh man. Keanna and Nathan trusted me with capturing their intimate sunrise elopement and it couldn’t have been more perfect. An honor it was to both photograph it — and get to be the legal witness to the ceremony. My name is forever imprinted on their marriage license 🥺🥰

🎃 Pumpkin Patch Minis - The vibe here is FULL ON FALL meaning fall colors, pumpkins, open fields etc. They’ll take place at Amazing Grace Family Farms in Green Cove Springs, FL. A perfect opportunity for a night out with the fam (or your boo thang). Come take some photos then stay for the crop maze!

🍂 Fall Minis - This is for the folks who may want more of a neutral vibe for their fall time photos. The boots and sweaters are totally welcome but if that’s not you…that’s okay too! This set up will take place in the shady groves of Florida along the St. Johns River.

🎄Holiday Minis - You know what do here - these are the photos you probably want to put on your Christmas cards! The vibe here is minimal Christmas aesthetic — open field, some cozy blankets, pine trees in the background.

Going off-brand a bit for a little piece near and dear to my heart.

I spent many months of my own life counting the days until Dad came home. Dozens of missed birthdays, softball games, even my high school graduation. I’m no stranger to Navy homecomings and it’s just that much sweeter to be apart of moments like these when you know how it feels to finally hug a loved one after a long, 201 days out at sea.
