🎩 Once upon a time, I was a wizard–and a wonderful wizard I was. 🪄
(Not metaphorically—an actual magician.)

I spent years travelling the country, performing at incredible events, creating moments that left people in awe.

Life was magical.
And then, the world hit pause.
COVID happened. Events stopped. The audiences disappeared.

And honestly? So did my sense of purpose.
For the first time, I wasn’t just “a magician without a stage.”

I was… lost.
Empty.
Like someone had pulled the magic carpet from right under me.

But sometimes, life’s greatest magic isn’t the kind you perform—it’s the kind that finds you.

For me, that magic came in the form of a dream I’d put off for years…
A professional hypnotherapy course I’d always wanted to take, moved online.
Before, I was too busy to make it happen.
But now? I had nothing but time.

So, I dove in headfirst.
Almost four years ago to the day, I earned my certification and officially became a professional hypnotherapist. 🧠

And here’s the plot twist I didn’t see coming:
Hypnosis didn’t just give me a new career—it reignited my love for magic.

🎩 In my shows, I started blending lessons on mindfulness and misdirection—teaching audiences how to be present.

I revealed the magic hidden in their own minds and showed how words shape reality.

🪄 In my hypnotherapy practice, I use my magician’s touch to show clients that their biggest barriers are often illusions—ready to vanish with the right focus and direction.

Now, I’m all in.
While I’ll never give up wizardry (because let’s face it, it’s too much fun), I’ve found my true calling:
✨ Helping people overcome self-doubt
✨ Breaking through limiting beliefs
✨ Unlocking the clarity, confidence, and focus to build businesses (and lives) they love.

Because whether it’s a card trick or a mindset shift, my goal is the same:

"It's crazy how one random moment can transform your whole life."

Picture this: I’m 8, hiding in the back of a charity shop, hoping no classmates see me, it was spitting distance from my school. My mum had dragged me in after school, and I was mortified. If I got seen by any of my classmates my life was over. Kids are savage!

While lying low, I spotted this old book on magic tricks. I flipped through it, hoping for a spell to make me disappear. No such luck—but I did find a simple matchstick trick.

I tried it on my mum later, and it completely blew her mind! She ran around the kitchen screaming that I was the spawn of Satan.

Okay that last bit isn't true, let’s just say her reaction was…polite? 😂 But that was it—I was hooked. One mortifying trip to a charity shop, and suddenly I had this obsession with magic that’s still going strong.

And the irony? If I hadn’t stumbled across that book, I’d probably have a regular job right now, steady paychecks, a pension—the works. Instead, I get to do what I love, even if it means life’s a little less “predictable” (read: chaos).

Funny how life works, right? What’s one tiny moment that changed everything for you?"

I wasn’t always confident calling myself a magician, but this photo marks the exact moment that started to change. This was way back in 2016, at my first-ever paid gig—the night I decided to embrace the title and face my performance anxiety head-on.

I remember walking into the room, palms sweating, heart racing, questioning if I was really cut out for this. But as soon as I saw the reactions—like the one you see here—something clicked. That rush of seeing real wonder on someone’s face sparked a new confidence in me. I realised that maybe, just maybe, I could do this.

Now, every time I introduce myself as a magician, I think back to this moment, knowing that overcoming my fears that night was the first step toward owning my craft. So if you’re out there feeling uncertain, remember that confidence isn’t given; it’s earned, moment by moment.
