Throwback to 2020🤗😅
It may have been the worst year to launch a wedding stationery company and I can't even imagine what it was like to try plan a wedding.... But even though the world was thrown sideways, weddings did happen in whatever way they could. Love won for some people and it was lovely and very hopeful to see.♡

📸Luxe one sided invitation with a custom illustration of the sandhouse hotel. This hotel perched on the edge of the wild atlantic and used to be my second home where I worked and lived for years so I was only too happy to paint it for philip and Dee dee.

Currently our most popular order of service cards are A4 trifold cards on luxuriously thick 300gsm card like this one pictured. This style can fit quite a lot of information or you can edit it to be what you want it to be.

One of my very very sound couples are getting married in the spanish sun today!!! Have a wonderful time to the whole hometown who is celebrating with them! Ye deserve only the best!!!😍😍

📸 Im sorry now I had no photos of your invitations ready today! This photo is from another destination wedding...this time Australia to Mayo, home to tie the knot on the grounds of Ashford castle♡ I love all the different types of weddings I've been seeing this year!!! After the past 2 years it's just amazing!
Early this year was very hectic and photos were the last thing on mind (big regret!) But we've calmed the books down now a little until September so we can catch up on other work too over in our shop. 🥳

Emer and Simon are very close friends of mine so when they asked me to make their wedding invites...yes of course! We talked about some of their plans for the day and styles they liked and from there this design was born. 🌙 🌟

We carried this design through to place names table numbers and signage on the day.
We had the most perfect day celebrating their wedding in making wonderful memories that we can cherish forever.

Even though they are my friends and this testimonial might be a little in my favour here are their words:

I absolutely loved the brief for this one - Dark modern foliage. Yes please!
We added olive twine to our classic A5 invite card, a tag and elegant envelope seals to tie all together.

Second photo is a mock up from the initial design stages. Mock ups help us and our clients visualise how the suite might look as a whole...especially useful for this invite as we brought some new elements together for the first time. 🥳 so yes we can do envelope seals/stickers!

Every Monday of 2022 has been dedicated to mass booklets/order of service cards🤯
Really getting into the swing of them so if they are something on your "never-ending to-do" list I've added some handy downloadable order of service word doc guides on our website now. Link in Bio x

👉Anything to make things easier BUT please do note that we are not ministers/celebrants or priests. These guides are some cumulative knowledge over the past few years... but every service can be very different and every celebrant can have their own way with prayers.
Please check over your own order of service with your celebrant first. ☆

S&C were such a joy to work with (twice.. due to covid not playing ball😳). Your wedding was a light switch after a dull 2 years.

This year I allowed myself just a small number of invitation clients and I'm so glad I did. It meant I was able to really focus on each brief and make each suite so different...and of course get so much work done over with our main studio . It's been one heck of a summer and I'm looking forward now to a week's break🥳

Invitations with a difference are maybe my very special hobby!
This suite really made me want to go dromoland castle😍 It looks like such a glorious venue.
I hope D&R had a fab day!

Congratulations to Máire and Barry on their wedding yesterday♡I hope you both had a wonderful day in stunning Markree Castle .🏰

We designed a folded square invitation together with blush and burgundy florals and a handpainted Markree Castle on the inside. We carried the design through to their matching order of service trifolds too.😍

It was an absolute pleasure to work with you both on your wedding stationery and wishing you a lifetime of happiness♡

A couple of heroes, who love to travel from our green Isles and create great adventures together.
Congratulations on your wedding! So happy ye got to have your day and ye absolutely rocked it! 🥰

This was a completely custom invitation dreamt up by the couple and drawn by me in the first lockdown on my balcony in that glorious heatwave! (The dreaming of travels was and still is very strong!) We featured some of their favourite places that shows their journey together so far and I've no doubt that the best is yet to happen.

A wedding in Australia with so much love from Ireland.

When M&L first got in touch their joy and kindness exuded from their emails from Sydney to Donegal. We added some personal touches to our "Lynn" invite and designed a gorgeous vellum wrap with blue floral border to envelope the invitation. I was obsessed with how their invitations and mass booklets turned out 😍

We posted them across Ireland and off to Australia for a wedding to be celebrated across the seas until those seas can be crossed again.♡

It was such a joy to hear that they had an amazing day. The nicest couple so they truly deserved it!🥰

Navy and wild flowers🌿
Square folded card invitation.
New design☆

I've spent this past year focusing on custom designs (a lot of which didn't get their day out😭)
It's been difficult to find time for any new designs and to even put them out there!
But this design came about one evening I sat merging many of my florals together from various different sketches to create something new, colourful and fairly unplanned.
I love how these wild flowers turned out on a dark background with a modern calligraphy font in rose pink. Could be a perfect invitation to blend seasons.

Some vellum wrapped invitations that went out last week.💚
Obviously not going to give away the final look of this invite but those soft edges are just👌♡

It was such an honour to make something truly unique for this couple who were an absolute joy to design for and sent me the kindest emails from start to finish. You guys know who your are so Thank you and have fun posting and celebrating.

Welcome to the home of The Little Wedding Studio. We are a sister branch of Mc Gonigle Glass Studio, based in The Donegal Craft Village . I (Zara) fell in love with making wedding invitations when my sister Elaine asked me to make hers 4 years ago.

We offer both completely custom and collection wedding stationery and we are currently working on our new website.
