How to make fruit mince pies - let’s cook mince pies Sweet Pastry Recipe:Ingredients:- 454 g flour- 277 g sugar- 277 g butter- 2 eggsInstructions:1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and sugar.2. Cut the cold butter into small cubes and add it to the bowl.3. Rub the butter into the flour mixture using your fingertips until it resembles breadcrumbs.4. Create a well in the center of the mixture and crack the eggs into it.5. Using a fork, gradually incorporate the eggs into the mixture until it forms a dough.6. Bring the dough together with your hands, being careful not to overwork it.7. Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.Mincemeat Recipe:Ingredients:- 200 ml port- 200 g muscovado sugar- 200 g sultanas- 200 g raisins- 1 cooking apple grated - 100 g mixed peel- 1 tsp ground ginger- 1 tsp ground nutmeg- 1 tsp ground cinnamon- Zest of 1 orange- 100 g beef suetInstructions:1. In a large saucepan, combine the port and muscovado sugar. Heat gently until the sugar dissolves.2. Add the sultanas, raisins, mixed peel, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, ground cinnamon, and orange zest to the pan. Stir well to combine.3. Simmer the mixture over low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.4. Remove the pan from the heat and allow the mixture to cool completely.5. Once cooled, stir in the beef suet until well incorporated.6. Transfer the mincemeat to sterilized jars and store in a cool place for at least 2 weeks to allow the flavors to develop.To assemble the mince pies:1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).2. Roll out the sweet pastry on a floured surface to a thickness of about 3mm.3. Use a round cookie cutter to cut out circles slightly larger than the size of your mince pie tin.4. Line the greased mince pie tin with the pastry circles, pressing gently into the corners.5. Spoon a generous amount of the prepared mincemeat into each pastry case.6. Use any remaining pastry to create lids for the mince pies. You can cut ou

Introducing my homemade banging blackberry jam, the perfect spread for buttered toast or a bagel! 🍇🍞This recipe requires 650g of blackberries, 650g of sugar, and one sachet of pectin. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even add two shots of gin at the end! Here’s how to make it:1️⃣ Start by washing your blackberries thoroughly.2️⃣ Weigh out 650g of blackberries and add 4 tablespoons of water. Place them on the stove and simmer gently, taking care not to break up the fruit. This step helps soften the berry skins.3️⃣ While the berries are simmering, weigh out an equal amount of sugar and warm it up. You can also warm up the auger by passing it through the oven or microwave.4️⃣ Add the warmed sugar and pectin to the blackberries, and increase the heat for five minutes. This will help set the jam.5️⃣ Carefully transfer the jam into sterilized jars, either using a jam funnel or by spooning it in. Allow the jam to cool for half an hour, then seal the jars with lids.6️⃣ Place the jars in the fridge for 24 hours to allow the jam to set.The next day, you’ll have a jar of banging blackberry jam ready to enjoy! 😋🍇🍞 #homemadejam #blackberrydelight #foodie
Okay here we go my favourite chocolate chip cookie recipe. This one is the bomb is the best when you get a find the cast of sugar makes a crispy the dark brown sugar makes a gooey who is the recipe 240 g of all-purpose flour 2.5 g of baking soda 3 g of sea salt 135 g of dark brown muscovado sugar 12 g of golden syrup 104 g of granulated sugar 107 g of smashed up dark chocolate 120 g of munchies chocolates 167 g of unsalted butter at room temperature 60 g of eggs When you’re baking is always better to weigh out your eggs, this where you’re going to have consistent results as eggs can vary in size Add your butter, both sugars, golden syrup, and Cream together And add the egg for the egg and carefully Then in a separate bowl, mix your flour, baking soda and salt and mix together. This spread to the baking soda for the flowers and even results and add this flour mix to your butter mix for this together. Now add your smashed of chocolate and munchies fold in the Chocolate and place the mix in the fridge for half an hour to rest Then using an ice cream scoop or a large spoon to get consistent sizes. Spoon out your dough, mix ball in your hands and place an extra munchy in the middle like the video folding the day around it. Really spaced these cookies out because they’re gonna spread out when they’re cooking and you want to bake them when the door is room temperature place to do in the oven at 180° for 14 minutes or until golden brown take the cookies out of the oven and leave on the tray on a cooling rack for 10 to 15 minutes to let the cookie set. You can then use a spatula to take the cookies off the tray and placed these onto the cooking rack. Don’t do what I did in place in the straight on the cooling rack as they will dissolve through the rack. They need to set on the tray 1st to firm up then put them on a cooling rack. Chocolate chip cookies have to be in the same day that’s on there at the best little bit warmer daily you can put them in airtight tab
