Last night we had the opportunity to serve on the Smokey Valley Railroad dinner train. We served toss salad with sweet onion dressing, snowflake potatoes, green beans and stuffing layered chicken breast. For dessert was strawberry shortcake. A big shout out to my crew: Emma, Jordan and Kelly. Thank you to everyone that chose riding with us.

Busy day on Friday. Went to Salina, Kansas, Kenwood Hall for a Men's Fastpitch Reunion. Served a tossed salad, creamed corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, smoked pork and brisket, rolls and butter. Dessert was peach cobbler with whipped topping. Sixty ball players attended the event. In the evening, we traveled to Hope, Kansas, for Phil Lorson's Celebration of Life. The family chose cole slaw, smoked mac and cheese, potato chips and smoked pulled pork sandwiches. Blessing for All. Thank you for hiring us and helping us get both events completed. And thank you, Kelly for working for me today!

Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary to Linda and Kent Sauer💕 We went to Salina on Saturday evening to set up a taco bar for their celebration. We had taco beef and chicken, hard and soft shells, refried beans and Spanish rice. Toppings included shredded cheese and lettuce, diced onions and tomatoes, jalapenos, sour cream, olives and limes.🌮 Chips, queso and salsa was also set up. This presentation was for the new CEO students of Dickinson County 2025. They gathered this evening with their facilitator, board members and mentors to learn about this special program. The grazing table had fresh vegetables and dip, charcuterie board and crackers, breaded chicken pieces and dip, and fresh fruit. Dessert was mini eclairs and cheesecake bites. Congratulations! 🎉🎊🎉

Wednesday evening I delivered to the Salina 4 H Building for the chamber after hours gathering. I assembled a vegetable tray with ranch dip, charcuterie boards with crackers and pretzels and a fresh fruit tray. Thank you for letting us be part of your celebration! ☘

Tonight we served the Community Foundation Banquet at Sand Springs Venue. The tables were set up beautifully as usual. Each charger has a flatbread topped with burrata cheese topped with arugula, fresh mozzarella balls, fresh made bruschetta, drizzled with balsamic glaze. Plated meal was seared chicken breast smothered in basil cream sauce with sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms, Italian seasoned green beans and sour cream garlic potatoes. Dessert was strawberry sundae shortcake. A special shout out to my crew. They had a few new items to create for this evening's menu. And they crushed it! Ady, Brenda, Corbyn, Cortney, Emma, Fred, Jordan, Kelly, Lora, Steph, and Tori. Thank you for letting us be part of your evening.

Early Saturday morning preparing for the Solomon Festival pancake feed.🥞 The Solomon Athletes setup and prepared breakfast for the community. Pancakes, sausage patties and juice or bottled water. The kids and coaches did a great job helping me pull this off. Thank you to Shaun Gray for getting the grills and etc. to the park. And the Boyer's and Kohman's for use of there grills. It takes a village to make this happen.

Busy weekend after returning from Mexico on Wednesday night. Set up Emma and her crew (Ady, Corbyn, Emy and Jordan) for the Solomon Alumni Banquet. Menu served: jello fruit salad, savory roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, seasoned green beans and rolls. Kelly and I went to Salina, at The Sullivan. Congratulations to Mrs. and Mr. K***z. Menu chosen: toss salad, seasoned green beans, mashed potatoes and cream gravy, chicken tenders and brisket with a bread basket. Thank you to everyone for letting us share in your memories.

Monday evening, Emma and I were in Salina to work the Salina Central Baseball Banquet. The menu Kate chose was a taco bar: hard and soft shells, seasoned ground beef and chicken, refried beans, chips and queso, and a variety of toppings. We appreciate your business!

It's nice to put my feet up! Started at 6:30 am, packing supplies and prepping. The Willows open house and ribbon cutting was this morning. We served fresh vegetable tray, chex mix, gourmet popcorn: butter, cheese and trail mix, a small charcuterie board and a fresh fruit tray. Had to leave at noon to go home and pick up the next events order. Met Fred and Matt in Salina and they went to Assaria to set up for a surprise 50th birthday party. There they had a fresh vegetable tray, double charcuterie board with crackers and a fresh fruit tray. Thank you for your help! Then back to The Willows for clean up. It was nice to visit with everyone today.

Had a busy weekend. Saturday evening Kelly and I did a taco bar for Christie and Jesse, her husband's 50th Birthdays. The buffet was hard and soft taco shells, seasoned ground beef and chicken, refried beans, chips and queso and all the fixings. Sam sang after the meal. Sunday morning, Jordan had his confirmation. Ryan, his big brother, was his sponsor. The church served us lunch after mass. Then off to Salina to setup appetizers for the Salina Symphony. Mozart's Requiem. Cowboy caviar served with baguettes and tortilla chips, double charcuterie boards, garlic buttered chicken bites and a dessert tray: mini cheesecakes and lemon bars. Thank you for letting us be part of your celebration!

My team, Brenda, Emma, Fred and Kelly arrived at Sand Springs Venue to setup for the 2025 Scholarship Banquet at 4 pm. Shortly after that the rain, wind and hail began. We had a short delay to give guests time to arrive after the storm. The Meal served this evening: chopped Italian salad, seasoned green beans, chicken alfredo, lasagna and breadsticks. Dessert was New York cheesecake. Thank you to my crew and the Community Foundation for hiring us. Congratulations to all the scholarship recipients. Good Luck on your next chapter .👨‍🎓👩‍🎓

It has been a wonderful start to my new business. I appreciate all of the fabulous people in my community and surrounding area that have welcomed my new venture with great enthusiasm.
