The Great Barn, surrounded by stunning gardens & countryside is the perfect wedding venue. Micklefield Hall is the perfect Country House Wedding Venue.

The privately owned house and the extensive gardens - with their traditional herbaceous borders and enchanting water features - are yours exclusively for the day. Every wedding is tailor-made to suit the requirements of the bride and groom. The beautifully restored 16th Century Barn can seat up to 200 guests. It also has a separate bar, bridal changing room, luxury loos, sophisticated lighting, un

der floor heating, air conditioning and purpose built kitchens, The Great Barn has a lovely terrace for drinks and a garden room with an open log fire. This all links naturally with the more formal gardens and lawns of Micklefield Hall. We have recommended caterers and Jamie & Anna, along with their events team, are always on hand to guide you with the arrangements. Micklefield Hall is licensed for Civil Ceremonies both inside and outside. Yesterday was a very special day for us all . It has been a year since Tom’s successful kidney transplant. To mark the occasion, we had a family dinner which included the wonderful Nicola who is a live donor transplant coordinator for the NHS. We are so grateful to have had her support throughout. Thank you Nicola. 💜
Last year, Max (Anna & Jamie’s eldest son) donated one of his kidneys to Tom (Anna & Jamie’s middle son). It was an incredibly courageous act. And we are forever grateful to Max for giving Tom his life back. 💜
