Simply SoFrito A Taste Of The Islands Straight From New Jersey I started this company with one thing in mind, family traditions!

It is important to keep family traditions, and one way is through food. As a mother I want my children to continue our traditions but in a healthy way. All of our products are all natural with fresh made ingredients. There is absolutely no msg in any of our products. I only use pink Himalayan sea salt and fresh herbs and spices to flavor the foods. The eggs for the fresh made mayo-ketchup are cage

free organic. I started this journey while facing some harsh realities. When you have family members who become ill and you know it is do to consumption of products because they keep the cultural tradition, and while reading labels you see msg as the first ingredient and sodium in exorbitant amounts or the amounts of sugars in these products contain. We wanted to make the same delicious foods but with natural ingredients and no preservatives. Please join me in keeping our family traditions without all of the additives.

I know it’s last minute, but we were really trying to get through all of the Christmas orders and everything that had to get done as we just finished making the pastele orders. We will be closed on New Year’s Eve (except for catering pic ups) and we will open on New Year’s Day for dinner only 4 to 8pm. Happy Wednesday! One week until Christmas Eve. I cannot believe how fast this year has gone. You have until Monday December 22 by 6 PM to get in your Christmas Eve orders and if you need pasteles before Christmas Eve, I need those orders in by Sunday the latest before 4 PM. They’re in such high demand that we are having a hard time keeping them in stock and so we need to make sure that our pre-orders are fulfilled. We will still have pasteles available after Christmas, I am also coming up with a New Year’s Eve catering order special. Tomorrow’s market has been moved up to 9:30 AM due to the weather, but we are open rain or shine. Our empanada special flavors will be our Thanksgiving turkey, cranberry and stuffing, and of course our coconut curry potato. I will also have frozen pasteles at the truck. If you’re unable to come see us at the market, you can always come to the restaurant 15 Main St., Eatontown. We’re open 12- 9 PM tomorrow 12 to 6 on Sunday.
