Alien Superstar... Season 5 Episode 6 👽🪩🌟

I was looking forward to wearing this design!! And although I didn't get to showcase it on the runway, I really want to celebrate the craftsmanship and the collaboration magic to bring this idea to life!

I am such a fan of Benjamin Toner I saw a lot of the work that he did for past drag race alumni and I knew I wanted him to be part of my package.
Let me say this, not only is Benjamin an amazing Designer, but he is kind, super kindddd!!
There is such a time crunch involved getting ready to go to drag race and Ben was somebody who just made everything really easy and even taught me some new things about shipping across the country! I'm truly grateful for him and recommend his talent to everyone!!

The concept: I wanted to make it alien, fashion, and superstar! Of course, my favourite alien superstar is Cher!!! I was thinking of the quote: " If the world ends... There will be cockroaches and Cher" 😂

I recently went to the amazing A Drag Queen Christmas!! 🎄✨💃🏼🪩👏🏽❤️in Saskatoon!! Outstanding! And, I was greeted with such love by the cast! 🥹❤️ I was over the moon proud of watching my granddaughter kill it on stage 👏🏽❤️ Such a great show!

Runway Week 4 -Slow Motion Couture

The turtle is an icon of life. 🐢🌏🪶

The story of Turtle Island relates to a time when the planet was covered in water.
The turtle held the world on its back.

Revered as symbols of wisdom, longevity, and harmony with the environment. For Indigenous peoples, the turtle represents the interconnectedness of all life and serves as a reminder of the responsibility humans have to protect and honor the Earth.
Grandmother Earth, who teaches us to walk our paths in peace.

Hard to describe performing on the main stage for the first time , but girl!! Call me the 'Spinner' 🤣 😅😬

Big take away from this week for me is to not give up, even when the nerves seem overwhelming! We are all here for a reason, because we are STARS!!

I LOVE this cast and we all want each other to share the magic that brought us here!
And through the ups and downs, you keep moving through the challenges the best you can! This is the scary and exciting part of the competition!!
