Nick and Hanna met in school in the Philippines and their love story brought them here to Australia. Despite being here, they still wanted their wedding to reflect their roots.

As a specialist in Filipino and Catholic weddings, this one ticked all the boxes for us. The Mass itself was celebrated in full Tagalog and the reception served Filipino food buffet style. They were lucky to be surrounded by a village of loved ones that became part of their large entourage - godparents, bridal party and of course their parents.

A week ago, I got a phone call from LA— “Crystal, I am flying to Sydney next week for my birthday. Just like our wedding, can you plan my birthday party?”

gave the brief over a phone call, and in less than a week, here we are celebrating and reunited!

It’s so nice to reconnect with Sergey & again years after their wedding and since they moved to the US! It was so great to see so many familiar faces from their wedding too. This event was so fun to plan, and the day was even more beautiful with all these wonderful people!

LITURGY OF THE WORD 📖
You may choose people from your entourage, family members or other selected guest to do the readings at your church ceremony.

• A reader is allocated to do the first reading.
• The responsorial psalm may be sung or recited.
• Another reader is allocated to do the second reading however this may be omitted if you and your priest choose to do so.
• The gospel acclamation can also be sung or recited
• The gospel and homily are delivered by the officiating priest.

In addition to these readings, you will need to allocate another reader for the Prayer of the Faithful aka the Universal Prayer which takes place after the Marriage rites.

Who signs the Marriage Certificate?
In Australia, the marriage certificate is signed by:
• The couple getting married
• The celebrant (officiant)
• Two witnesses

The witnesses can be your Maid of Honour and Best man or other representatives such as your godparents.

In NSW, couples receive a commemorative certificate on the day of their wedding. The official marriage certificate is issued by the NSW Registry of births, deaths & marriages after the celebrant registers the marriage.

Some couples have requested for additional witnesses to sign especially those with multiple godparents. This can be discussed with your celebrant; it can usually be done at the back of the commemorative certificate.

The processional is the formal entrance and bridal march before the wedding ceremony begins. The order of the march and the seating of your entourage are included in the details we go through during our final meeting and your wedding rehearsal.
Some things to consider when planning your March:
• Will the groom and his groomsmen be walking or will they already be at the altar?
• If you have principal and secondary sponsors, will they be walking?
• Will you have flower girls and page boys?
• Who is walking with the bride?
• If the bride is wearing a veil, at which point would she like this removed?
• Song selection - will the bride be walking down to her own song or a continuation of the first song?

We make sure your ceremony starts on time. If you have late guest arrive once the processional has begun, we either redirect them to another entrance or ask them to wait until you are at the altar before entering the church.

An organised processional allows for a smooth ceremony.

Kicking off 2024 with our first wedding of the year and a 7am call time. The day started with a tea ceremony at the bride’s family home. and her bridesmaids wore a Vietnamese ao dai and and his groomsmen wore a Filipino Barong.

The tea ceremony began with challenges the bridesmaids setup for the groom and his groomsmen to prove the groom’s worthiness to enter the house and see his bride. It was so much fun! This was then followed by the formalities of the tea ceremony and eating time 🤤 Everything was soo delicious!

In the afternoon, we all headed to for the church ceremony where they also included the Filipino wedding traditions.

Congratulations again to our beautiful couple and 💕 Your heartfelt speeches honouring your families is nice foresight to the kind of family you will build together. Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day and we hope you get some well deserved rest ☺️

Congratulations Che and Junn, our lovely couple from Queensland. They had guest and vendors coming from all over Australia and overseas to celebrate their special day here in Sydney.

The bride’s heavily pregnant twin sister even flew from the Philippines with a toddler as she wouldn’t miss this wedding for the world. It was evident that this couple is truly loved by their family and friends and we’re so happy that they got to celebrate their dream wedding with those near and dear to their hearts 💕

We ensure that all your vendors are on the same page and become their point of contact for the times we are involved in.

This allows:
💕 You to relax and focus on getting married rather than trying to contact your suppliers for last minute details
💕 Your vendors to focus on their own service and strengths (photo/video, etc) rather than trying to work on timeline and logistics

We work with your vendors to help execute your wedding plans just as you envisioned it.

Just as Mary selflessly gave birth to and raised Jesus, we too strive to emulate her nurturing love and devotion to our own children. Through our devotion to Mary, we find strength, guidance, and inspiration in our own journey as mothers.

Some couples decide to incorporate a consecration to Mary in their church ceremony. Just like these couples pictured above.
