It was a true honor to feed one of my heroes in the food business! I have so much respect for her talent, business & work ethic! Everything that comes out of her kitchen is perfection & I wish I was half the culinary genius she is! Y’all have to stop by Baked next time you are in Granbury! She’s a true inspiration! ❤️

What a fantastic brunch we had today down in Glen rose! I have huge admiration and respect for fellow female restaurateur Lindsey Brewer. We both know what it takes, the heart and soul, and passion that is required on a daily basis. Needless to say I’m a fan! ♥️♥️♥️

Sunday Brunch has been something I’ve wanted to do for a long time & I’m so glad that we finally did start offering it. It has given me a lot of insight into what you would like to see on a breakfast menu. Right now, that’s what I’m fine-tuning over the next 5 weeks and we will begin offering Breakfast daily in the fall. Please let me know if there is something you’d like to see on the brunch menu over the next few weeks so we can test it! Thank you for your continued love & support as we find our new normal!

They are 13 hours late but they are finally done. I’ve had Cinnamon Roll drama all week and they just won’t behave themselves. Nobody got any for brunch today but I’m not mad about this midnight snack…that’s the size of my head. So far…iron skillet method is the clear winner but I need 50 more skillets. 😑

Hey, Sugarbiscuit!

I know this story is going to seem far-fetched but it’s true! I have been wanting this roll recipe of my Grandma’s for 30 years! I have had people asking me if I could make them for about that long. I honestly didn’t know how and either did my mother. I’m really not a baker….at all. I’m just a homestyle cook. I’ve dreamt about these huge rolls and often thought how amazing it would be to share them with people. My Aunt Kathy gave me the recipe yesterday! I managed to make a batch this afternoon & text a few friends who immediately drove down. It really is that big of deal…for me anyways. Thank you, Aunt Kathy! I probably could just serve theses and some honey butter for the rest of my days and get away with it! Thank you, Grandma! The first batch came out almost perfect! I honestly don’t know how I can top these except that I also have her cinnamon roll recipe and I’m making those in the morning. I better get my obituary picture taken soon because I’m never going to be skinny again. Now I just need her Indian fry bread recipe and I think I will have all of them! ❤️
