ALCOVE Onomichi
Hello everyone.
We are team Alcove Onomichi!
One year ago we bought a house that was over 100 years old in the lovely port town of Onomichi, which is in west Japan. The house itself was very old and in need of a bit of care and attention. At the same time, we wanted to respect the feel of the area whilst still bringing our personality and adding our experience and style of London living, too.
When we first bought the house, it seemed like an impossible project, and we were very hesitant if we had bitten off more than we could chew. But as things progressed we began to realise just what kind of things we could start to do with the space that was created, and how we could make it somewhere that we'd enjoy spending time in, as well as be proud of when people join us, or use it as a space of their own, too.
