Today is our 5th Birthday. I have spent it working and preparing for my sons birthday party which is taking place tomorrow. Will of course be using our party packs for our food and will be cracking out our pass the parcel bags and playing traditional party games.

I know I am massively behind on updating who I donate 10% of party pack payments to. How I run things seems to be constantly changing. I have calculated how much is to be donated to Elmfield Nursery and will aim to be donating this by the end of the month. I have made the decision to change who I donate to at the start of every year going forward. So think about who would be good to donate to and we will do a blind draw.

Party orders are once again coming in ♥️ My original wipe clean table cloths are starting to show a little ware so thought I would look for some new washable ones. I have my pink sparkly ones but couldn't find any party appropriate ones (so many greys!) When I suddenly remembered I have the exact right thing in my loft waiting to be turned into bunting or tablecloth. 24 hours later hello tablecloth ready for a pack to honour this afternoon. 😍

A belated happy new year. This year I plan on sorting my party pack storage out. It's getting a bit crowded and work on making things clear on Facebook on what's on offer since the shops been taken away as a feature and hopefully invest in a small website 🤞

I actually enjoy balloons, not when they pop and have in the past brought helium balloons but have always made sure to weigh them down and tie them well.

That's a lot of single use items saved. This is also just a fraction of the true total. I'm proud of what we accomplish as a small group 😁

290,506 items!

We've just finished our annual impact audit. This is where we count up the total number of single-use items avoided by our party kits.

For this year (Aug 2022 to July 2023) we have logged a whopping 290k items 🥳

That's 290k single-use items which haven't been bought and binned because people switched to reusable tableware and borrowed a party kit.

Since we started tracking our impact in 2020 we've now logged over 686,000 single-use items avoided by party kits.

We are having a quiet summer but then I haven't been promoting myself. I'm enjoying the quiet and being able to spend some fun days with the kids. Also time to actually decorate the house which has been on hold for almost two years since getting a dog and a job 🙈

A few weekends ago we had a 30 party pack go out with cupcake carry case, beach ball balloon alternatives, pass the parcel bags and backdrop with stand. All for an amazing £30!!!!
Delivered and collected and no washing up. Bargain 😁

We are now fully electric ⚡ I have been driving my husband's electric car for the past 6 months as my old diesel car gave up on me. After saving and working out affordability I'm now a happy owner of an electric car myself. So we are now even more eco friendly. This means we can deliver further out for cheaper 🎉

Don't you love a super hero themed party. We have a large backdrop to add to the feel of your party. Or do what I did for my son's birthday last year and combine two themes, Super hero's and Dinosaurs.
That was an INTERESTING combo! 1st time I have every made little paper capes for model dinosaurs and masks out of glue and food colouring!

Love a bit of fruit picking. We did this 2 weeks back and this is the 1st year my son actually enjoyed it. Some got eaten and the rest frozen. I do enjoy a visit to Primrose Vale Farm Shop wish I could visit more often.
