Rehearsal and indoor performance space is located in a rustic tri-level building of Mennonite-style construction. The upper level, Karras Studio, is available for recording, showcases, and le
ssons. The basement level can be reserved for lock-out storage and rehearsal space. On the ground floor, space can be reserved for large or small practice rooms. General rehearsal rate is $10/hour, but discounts are available periodically. Also on the ground floor, a sleeping area with shower and kitchen facilities can be rented for all-night recording projects. Equipment Rental
If you want to set up in a big room and jam or put on the headphones and keep it quiet, P.A. systems of various sizes will be available , as well as full backline (drums, amps, guitars, etc.). Full light packages and recording options are coming soon. rental prices are as follows:
50$-$75 acoustic (two systems )
$150-$250 for club size (soundman included)
$350-$700 Theater and outdoor-show sized (soundman included)
Lessons and Professional Advice
In addition to teachers and mentors who rent space for lessons, Musicians Paradise periodically offers musicians’ roundtables at which musicians of any level can meet with local and national musicians, producers, videographers, sound engineers, and other professionals to share ideas and learn more about the business of making music. “School of rock” classes are coming soon as well. Musicians Paradise periodically offers multi-band showcases, festivals, open mics, and jams. The venues can also be rented for special performances, as well as most other events including weddings, dance recitals, movie shoots, videos, exercise or yoga classes, art shows, or just about anything else you can imagine.
