Mala Junta are no strangers to disruption; they’ve been ripping up the rulebook ever since they began in 2018.
Disillusioned with the pace of Berlin’s dancefloors, and inspired by the success of fast & frenetic nights further afar such as close friends Fast Forward in Copenhagen, DJ TOOL, Hyperaktivist and Nayme sought to create an event in their own name.
The trio set about becoming agents of chaos in the German capital, blending the merciless sound that the city is famous for with the high energy acid trance blossoming in their Northern neighbour. In the six years since, living up to their mischievous name, their high jinks, quirky nature has taken by storm not just their home city but Europe too.
After two unforgettable encounters in 2023, on Saturday 6th April Mala Junta will return to Canning Town, with:
