Unchained changes the meaning of Wild every year! After all Unchained is rated as one of the best open air metal concerts of the country. Mosh pits have been a tradition and will always be an integral part of Unchained. Metal fans zero onto the arena by twilight, and then the evening is only dedicated to metal music. With amazing bands like Zero, Pin-drop Violence, Cryptic, Demonic Resurrection, Myndsnare, Zygnema, Infernal Wrath, Grimmortal and Wired Anxiety (That’s RAIT’s very own metal band) having performed on this stage, the event is truly epic. It has everything raging from Hardcore Punk Rock to Gothic Metal. Many bands have used unchained as a stepping stone to establish themselves on the metal scene. It has been decided to keep Unchained a gig rather than a competition but it will be as wild and violent as ever. Now that the event has been shifted to a bigger arena, it is even more appealing and provides a better experience for the bands as well as the fans. There is going to be some serious headbanging and moshing over here guys... Be there to experience it yourself.
