Part of the fun of teaching seasonal floral design classes is selecting the color palette for each class. As I look around me, I see all the trees and shrubs are turning golden with pops of oranges .. it's so beautiful everywhere I look! Those surrounding colors are the inspiration for the color palette for the two classes this coming Saturday! Give me all the golden, creamy, mossy green, tips of orange textures!

Spaces are available in both classes for any last minute sign-ups! Join us for a morning class of creating an autumn compote styled arrangement and/or an afternoon class of designing a large and lush vase styled arrangement! Spring is in the air!
The daffodils are blooming with hyacinths and tulips budding up. I adore this time of year when all the blooms return!

Can't wait to start filling the studio with beautiful spring blooms!

April events I have planned at the studio:

3 day workshop focusing on woodland designs with is scheduled for April 6-8
Details and Registration can be found on the website.

Dahlia Tuber & Spring Plant Sale scheduled for Saturday, April 16th from 9am to Noon, Event is open to any and all plant enthusiasts! Vivian from and Sarah from will have a great variety of dahlia tubers and plant starts available!

On Saturday, April 30th I have a floral design class featuring the compote styled centerpiece scheduled. Details and Registration can be found on the website.

Come visit me in the quaint town of Snohomish, grab a coffee and treat from one of the local bakeries, or stay after class and enjoy a stroll down First Street and check out all the cute shops and grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants.

A little needed meditation provided by this sweet tulip.

January has been nothing less than exhausting, I've never had a year start off like this before.

Some good and fun news, the new studio is slowly coming along. (a little slower than I would have imagined, yet as to be expected these days). The studio space will have its own instagram - .creative - where I'll keep tabs of the workshops, classes and events I have planned. And as soon as the last glitch on the website finally gets smoothed over I will be posting the 3 day workshop I'm hosting in April with -- A few people have reached out to inquire about the dates of the workshop, it'll be held April 6-8 in Snohomish.

Ok .. back to work I go, I have some things to paint. Hope to be back on here soon with the registration link for the first workshop!

It has been awhile since I last introduced myself. Hi, I’m Alicia Schwede, and I’m a floral designer who lives for designing flowers for weddings and special events through my company Bella Fiori. Teaching my craft to flower enthusiasts is my other passion, workshops I’m hosting can be found on ⠀⁠⁠
My journey in this flower world began almost 20 years ago in California and Bella Fiori launched in Colorado in 2003. Since 2014 my husband and I have been living in Washington, where I grow a lot of dahlias and hellebores. One of these days I’m going to decide how I’d like to design my rose garden! ⠀⁠⁠

CALIFORNIA | WEDDING INTENSIVE WORKSHOP October 22, 23 & 24, 2019 Wedding Intensive Workshop – 3 incredible days packed full of flowers and education! This workshop will take place at photographer Caroline Tran’s studio in downtown Los Angeles, California. I'm so excited to share this very special workshop with you!
