Getting a little personal today! If you’ve been around here, you’ve probably heard me talk about my incredible great-grandmother and the journeys I’ve taken to connect with her roots in Ireland. But my grandma’s post today hit me right in the heart.

I was lucky enough to visit the church where my great-grandparents were married not once, but twice: once our honeymoon and again while in Ireland for a wedding. We spread her ashes in her favorite places and beside her mom and brother. And we celebrated with all our family ❤️ I’m talking 1am pints at the family bar, where the 70+ crew drank us under the table. It was pure magic, and I’ll never forget it😭❤️

One day, I dream of taking our wedding photos at that same church to be able to place side by side with theirs. Full circle moments😭 I’ll share the video we have in my stories and did a story on us too!

Also, if you ever find yourself able to visit Portrush, Ireland… go. The beach, the golf course, the sea spray in the air—it’s wild and beautiful, just like the stories that started there.

One of my favorite Southern Pines traditions happens tomorrow❤️ Throwback to the last blessing of the hounds we were able to attend at ! Worded by “Every Thanksgiving morning, a unique and time-honored tradition unfolds in Southern Pines, North Carolina. The Moore County Hounds invite the public to attend their opening meet for the annual Blessing of the Hounds. This ritual, dating back to the Middle Ages, marks the formal launch of the foxhunting season and gathers hounds, riders, and over 1,000 spectators in a celebration of heritage, sport, and community”.
