One of my favorite Southern Pines traditions happens tomorrow❤️ Throwback to the last blessing of the hounds we were able to attend at ! Worded by “Every Thanksgiving morning, a unique and time-honored tradition unfolds in Southern Pines, North Carolina. The Moore County Hounds invite the public to attend their opening meet for the annual Blessing of the Hounds. This ritual, dating back to the Middle Ages, marks the formal launch of the foxhunting season and gathers hounds, riders, and over 1,000 spectators in a celebration of heritage, sport, and community”. What does your photographer do when you mentioned your dream was a mountain engagement session but the timing didn’t align? Vivian’s mom wore this gown 31 years ago to marry her dad. It took me a moment to really let that sink in. I saw her parents looking at the gown together and my heart melted. 31 years later and here they are at the wedding of their baby girl wearing the same gown❤️ It doesn’t get much better than that❤️ Vivian asked her dad “look familiar?” and he couldn’t help but give the biggest smile. Congratulations and ❤️
