I rushed out the door to go chase the Northern lights. Grabbed my camera bag just realize my batteries were at home charging 🤦🏻‍♀️. My phone took some great photos instead.

Seeing the Northern Lights has been on my bucket list for as long as I could remember. My mom and I went outside to see them while they were still faint. It was very cool but I wished we could see the colors brighter with the naked eye. Fast forward to when I was about to leave, that’s when the light show began. My mom had gone inside for the night while I dance around in the field under the beautiful Northern Lights. It was not as saturated as I’d hoped but I didn’t care. It was the absolute most magical moment of my life. The feeling was almost electric. I can’t even wrap my head around knowing that they light up the entire sky even brighter. Someday I hope to see that magic, but until then, I’m going to keep smiling and giggling with excitement for what many of us are finally able to witness. 🥰

Diving into the photos from Rose and Avery’s wedding day has me feeling all the feels. Having known Rose since our college years, it was an absolute honor to photograph such an important chapter in her life. This was my second trip to Pennsylvania for a friend’s wedding, and it reminded me of how special it is to catch up with old friends while celebrating love. It’s my Birthday! 🍾🥂🥳
Story time about out behind the scenes!

It was kinda of spontaneous photoshoot, that we planned over the weekend. props were to be purchased at Party City on my way just before the session, unfortunately, Party City closed earlier than I thought so instead of getting balloons blown up and ready to go I opted to go to Walmart instead and get a helium tank to blow up balloons on location. We soon learned, the helium worked to fill the balloons, but they did not float in the air as they should. They fell straight to the ground 😂. As we worked to get the balloons blown up and ready to go the golden hour sun quickly dropped behind the trees so we were now working with the short blue hour light. I get into my first pose, holding the balloons as they somehow rip off the strings and start blowing away 😂. I chase it down and tied them back. As we are About to take the photo, the 3 balloon pops and at the bottom so I quickly twist it around and hold it shut 😂. Meanwhile it’s getting darker outside. Brittany and I are laughing as it’s seems like a spiral of things that can go wrong kept happening. The balloons were only a slight portion 😂Anyways the photos turned out great and we had a great time laughing at the little inconveniences that came our way. Hears to 30!

Wedding Vendors often begin booking their calendars about a year in advance and some are beginning to fill up and close their books!

I still have available dates for wedding photography for 2024, and have began booking a few for 2025.
