A note of gratitude: I closed City Lights Event Co. at the end of 2020. The pandemic obviously impacted the event industry/all of the things in a very big way, and I know I’m not the only business who felt the consequences of that. In the end, the silver lining for me was a season of moving through life in a more slow and intentional way. And, the decision to take a deep breath and see what else the universe might have for me. It was an incredible 10 years in the event world that started because a few friends trusted me (when I was 25 and had no clue what I was getting myself into! 😂) and it grew into the creation of my business and how I spent a good chunk of my time and energy. I love that this is a part of the story of my life.
To all of my clients: I am so grateful for you. For trusting me to be a part of such a special piece of your life, for trusting me to be a part of the magic that happens when you gather with those you love. I truly would have been nothing without your support over the years!
To all of the vendors I worked with: without you—a team of creative, organized, passionate people supporting a wedding day (or fundraiser or any celebration)—I would have never been able to enjoy this work. You are incredible at what you do! All of those long hours doing work behind the scenes, thinking about every detail for our clients, and then making dreams a reality. Keep putting one foot in front of the other to make more magic happen! I am so grateful for your support and trust.
🥂Cheers to all of you for following me on this journey; I’m excited to see what lies ahead! Stay safe, get vaxxed, be sure you vote, and give your time and money and energy generously to those who need it. ❤️
