9-12 grade students, do you need some community service hours for your clubs? If so, Mrs. Enix needs help.
On June 29th, she will need help with cutting of shrubs and clean up on the outside, and possibly inside, of the high school grounds.
She will buy you pizza and drinks and perhaps some other treats. She will be working to clean up as well.
We will start at 7:30am and work until at least lunch time.
If you have safe gardening tools, bring them too.
We will be having a VENDORS MARKET Friday April 21st and Saturday 22nd. If you are interested in joining us please let me know. Also will have yard sale/flea market spaces outside. Please contact me if you are interested in joining us. Call Jan 479-325-9924

Please spay and neuter. Please. Call your vet and make an appointment. Set an alarm on your phone to remind you to call.
We need adopters, volunteers, fosters, and donors. Everyday we get calls from people upset we can't immediately take an animal they found or want to surrender. We have 18 dogs in our 8 kennels. We will keep helping all that we can, but we will not bring in more than we have the capacity to properly care for.
We took in 19 puppies and fixed their 2 moms just over 3 weeks ago.
2 weeks ago we took in 14 puppies. We will fix the 4 adult females on the property.
We also know about another group of 18 puppies and several adult dogs that need our help.
There are so many dogs in our county that need help. We will not be able to save them all. Many will be shot, hit on highways, or die from preventable causes such as exposure, parvo, and parasites.
We have a months long wait list, even for stray dogs. We will not be able to take your puppies if you call us. We will take down your information and put them on our wait list. Puppies are finding homes very slowly right now. Our 4 longest term dogs are puppies that have been with us since they were tiny and are growing up in a shelter.
If you'd like to help, first fix your pets. Fix your family's pets. Fix your neighbor's pets. Then go to our website. You can see who needs adopted. You can learn about fostering or volunteering. You can donate here or shop at Paws & Claws Thrift Cottage . Share our posts. We depend on social media to find homes.
Don't forget we are doing a pop up boutique at 107 Main Collective tomorrow July 21st from 5pm-8pm! The stores around the square will be open and the farmers market will join us ! We will have name brand clothing, jewelry and shoes and we are throwing in a few vintage pieces for fun !

Make sure to come out on Monday (7/11) to the Huntsville Veterinary Clinic and get lunch or dinner at Mama Rosa Taqueria . 10-6pm
We depend on Huntsville Veterinary Clinic to care for the homeless animals in our community. We can not do our work with out them. They always get our pets in quickly, provide lots of spay/neuter appointments, offer advice, and give us a discount that makes it possible for us to save as many animals as we do.
One of the ways we show our appreciation is by providing lunch for them a few times a year. You can help us do this by eating at the food truck yourself (if food trucks do well here it's easier to convince one to come) or putting a few dollars towards our tab for the vets and employees.
Thank you for supporting us and other local businesses. We are so thankful for our community.
