My morning was spent preparing and delivering afternoon teas and homemade cakes before a lovely, relaxing afternoon with my own amazing Mum and family! 💛💐

Dating back to the 16th Century, Mothering Sunday was a day when children, mainly daughters, who had gone to work as domestic servants were given a day off to visit their mother and family. They would often take Simnel cake as a gift! 🍰🧑🏻‍🍳

🥞Happy Pancake Day! 🥞

All you need for the perfect pancakes:
100g Plain Flour 🌾
250ml Milk 🥛
3 Eggs 🥚
A pinch of salt 🧂

Top tips:
1️⃣ Make sure your frying pan is hot before adding the mixture! 🔥🍳

2️⃣ Add lemon juice or fresh fruit and a sprinkle of sugar before eating. 🍋🥄🍊

3️⃣ These quantities will make 8-10 pancakes for you and the family to enjoy! 🥞
