Throwback to a lush little styled shoot last year at when the previous owners were considering offering their amazing space as a wedding venue.
Tons of candles, draped gauze, and a gigantic 3D installation at the bottom of the aisle.

THE VENUE

Samantha and Derek's venue florals were very much in keeping with their classic winter wedding whites and dusky greens, with a touch of boho taupe.

The aisle was adorned with an abundance of pillar candles in cylinder vases, with flower bombs on gold risers at the top and bottom.

The wedding breakfast set up was half pillar candles and foliage poolings, with the flower bombs repurposed on the remaining half.

Samantha chose to have 3 different sizes of bouquets for her bridesmaids - the adult bridesmaids, the junior bridesmaids, and a gorgeous mini-maid (because sometimes you want to feel like one of the big girls!). The all contained the same elements as Samantha's bridal bouquet, but were simply smaller versions. I think it worked beautifully!

was a stunning venue and had some beautiful festive touches throughout the hotel. Not to mention the most amazing setting with lake to the front and waterfall to the back!!

In December I had the pleasure of supplying flowers and styling for Samantha and Derek's wedding day at in Keswick.
The brief was winter whites and dusky foliages, tons of candle light and a touch of modern boho.

I think we can all agree Samantha looks absolutely stunning here as she walks down the aisle!

EMMA + JOE

Autumnal luxe at it's finest at , captured stunningly by .

A mix of dried and fresh materials made for gorgeous on-theme bouquets, and tied in perfectly with Emma's bespoke skirt and sweater outfit.

Two high-rise arrangements on copper stands framed their ceremony space, which were later moved to the entrance to their reception room.

Just look at those windows!!

Venue love!!

First time I had the pleasure of decorating - what a gorgeous venue! Full of charm, but not overwhelmingly so, giving you scope to add your own flavour if you so choose.

Shion and Henry's wedding day was all about colour, and they did an astounding job of bringing a sense of continuity and touches of their personalities to the styling.

I provided my rectangular arch frame which was strung with lights and pom poms by members of the bridal party (awesome job!). I added a floral placement to the base of each side of the arch to tie in with the personal flowers. A gorgeous backdrop for their ceremony.

The tables looked fantastic - swipe to see! Shion and Henry provided stacks of their favourite books, which also acted as table names. I finished off the look by styling with hand-dyed gauze swags (they don't come in those rich colours as standard!!), fairy lights, colourful bud vases and bright dinner candles. Shout out to for the hire of the candlesticks after I fell out with Ebay while trying to source my own.

COLOUR

Colour doesn't have to be super bright, super bold and in your face to be effective! I love a good "sherbet tone" - think pastels with punch. Perfect for Spring and into Summer.

Also, why not go for a low-level ceremony installation? Just as impactful as a decorated frame, but a more relaxed, natural-looking vibe.

COLOUR

compact bouquet, bursting with colour, and a few pom poms in there for good measure.

The aisle at Charlton Hall was lined with an array of vintage bottles containing vibrant blooms, which were then moved to adorn the guest tables.

COLOUR

So the powers that be are predicting that 2024 is going to be all about colour, and i couldn't be happier! While I await pro images of most of my 2023 weddings (sorry photographers, I will be pestering you very soon!), I thought I'd share a few throwback shots of some colourful stuff!

Here's one of a styled shoot from a little while back. This dinky little bouquet was constructed into a framework of rustic wire loops - I don't mind getting artsy if you're after something a bit niche, so frameworks and the likes are always an option here! Also, epic head dress - they seem to be less popular these days, but remember - it's your day, and if you wanna wear flowers in your hair, then nobody can stop you!

epic supplier list from this styled shoot below...

THIS PHOTO 😍😍

The dress, the hair, the light - absolute perfection!

Also, check out those blooms - a mix of fresh and dried in tones of rust, apricot, mustard and taupe, with a touch of blush in there for good measure. Front facing, grasses for texture, with one of my faves, Eustoma 'brownies' tucked in there.

If you want boho, you don't have to go fully dried. Mix fresh and dried for a heightened colour palette and variety of forms in your arrangements.

THE WEDDING BREAKFAST

I LOVE dressing Runa Farm!

Long banqueting tables and high ceilings make for so many possibilities!

A combination of luxury fabric runners, bud vases to add a splash of colour, and flickering candles are a MUST here.

Ali and Steve had a healthy budget for their florals, which allowed for some extras to really bring the wow factor. These extras were first used in their ceremony space, them moved across to the wedding breakfast set up to allow for appreciation throughout the day. Two of the high arrangements were used first at the bottom of the aisle, then moved to guest tables. Their staircase installation was re-assembled as a meadow in front of their top table, and as mini meadows at the end of guest tables below a cascade of fabric. We also moved across some pillar candles in cylinder vases - EVERYTHING was repurposed!

ALI + STEVE

One of my favourite weddings of 2023 at one of my favourite venues.

Ali and Steve traveled up from Birmingham with all of their family and friends to marry at Runa Farm - genuis idea, as it feels like you're on vacay in the Med as soon as you step through the doors!

The aesthetic was boho-luxe with a shimmering rose-gold accent.

Ali's dress 😍
