SISCO SISCO(Southwest Iowa Saddle Club Organization) Open Horse Shows SISCO is made of 3 saddle clubs in the the Southwest Iowa region.

The two member clubs are Shelby County and Council Bluffs Saddle Clubs. These shows start on Memorial and run through the last week in August. During the summer participants have the opportunity to acquire points based on placings in respected classes. At the end of the season, participants can use points to receive end of the year awards. *** VERSATILITY CHALLENGE RULES ***
One horse/one rider combination must enter the 4 stated categories below.
Halter Class (Showmanship is a pattern class category)
Walk-Trot Class
Pleasure (English, Ranch or Western) highest placing will be used.
Pattern Class (Showmanship, Trail, Equitation, Horsemanship and Ranch Riding)
You may enter as many classes as you like. The highest placing of like classes will be used. (Example if you enter more than one pleasure class, only your highest placing for the one pleasure class will be used.)
Points will be based on the first 5 places. Five for 1st, 4 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd, 2 for 4th and 1 for 5th. In case of a tie, a tie-breaker class will be used based on the higher number of entries. Points accumulate over the 2-day show. Three age groups 13 & under, 14-18yrs and 19 & over.
Prizes will be awarded to the Highest Point Winner and the 2nd Highest (Reserve) Point Winner in each of the 3 age groups.
You must sign up to participate in the challenge.
Tremendous 3's prizes will be awarded in the following classes. If their are not 3 entries in selected class's prizes will be re-assigned to classes with more than 3 entries at show managements choice day of show.
