Ahh, I need some guidance! 🎭
I just got my new headshots for acting, and it's all starting to feel real. I’m finally jumping back into auditions, classes, and all things acting again, and I’m even thinking of looking for a new agent.
But it’s been forever since I was in this world, and honestly, I’m feeling a little overwhelmed!
If anyone has recommendations on where to start—whether it's acting books, classes in Los Angeles, helpful resources, Facebook groups, or tips on finding agents/managers—I’d be beyond grateful.
Every bit of advice helps!
I've been doing a lot of acting and magic recently, which has sparked that fire in me, and I'm excited (and nervous!) to try my hand at the industry again.

Okay, I’m literally begging here! 🙏🎃🧙‍♀️

We had low ticket sales for the 10am show for October 27th, so we’ve condensed everything into one show at 1pm on October 27th to give everyone the best experience possible.

But I need your help!

This is going to be my LAST public show for a long time

I’M TOTALLY FREAKING OUT!
And it’s not just about magic… it’s kinda spooky too! 🎃

Okay, let’s rewind. When I was a kid, I was OBSESSED with Halloween. Best holiday ever, right?!

I lived for:
* Watching Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown on repeat
* Pretending I had actual magic powers (don’t we all?)
* Balancing on a broomstick between two chairs, convinced I was flying (sorry, Mom!)
* Dreaming of being Kiki from Kiki’s Delivery Service 🧹✨

Fast forward to now, and I’m still that same girl at heart, chasing those magical Halloween dreams.

BUT this time, I’m stepping WAY outside my comfort zone. 😱

Most weekends, you’ll find me doing close-up magic at weekend events, but this?

This is something different.

I’m chasing little Katrina’s dream of doing WITCHY magic and creating something bigger, more personal, and closer to my heart.

Instead of being my usual self—Magical Katrina—I’m planning to rent a BIG venue, dress up in character, and theme a whole magic show around Halloween! 👻🧙‍♀️

But… here’s why I’m so nervous… 😬

This is only my SECOND time producing a public show in over a decade. I’m excited but also terrified—will it actually work?!

It finally happened – we stayed at at JFK! You wouldn’t expect an airport hotel to be a bucket list item, but this one absolutely is. Vintage vibes are flawless, rooms comfy, staff friendly, and amenities amazing. It’s the perfect solve for an extended layover. We had an 11-hour one – too long to stay in the terminal, too short to head into the city. Thankfully, TWA offers a day pass option. We got a four-hour nap and still had time to explore. Highly recommend!

Unlike many places that look amazing on Instagram but disappoint in person, TWA Hotel exceeded expectations. For architecture enthusiasts, it’s a dream. Designed by Eero Saarinen in 1962, the building was the TWA Flight Center and is a masterpiece of Futurist design. The sweeping curving ceilings, futuristic passenger tubes, and that iconic wing-shaped roof create a space that embodies the excitement of travel. The attention to detail is unmatched – even the charging station by the bed is themed, the Do Not Disturb signs feel like the 1960s, and the light switches are brass toggles.

The hotel’s beauty is rooted in history but also caters to content creators. From the historic airport touches to the vibrant red carpet in the passenger tubes, it’s a wonderland for visuals. You’ll find recreations of Saarinen’s office, a 1960s flight attendant’s apartment, a beauty salon, and even a giant Twister board.

The amenities are top-notch. There’s a great restaurant, a well-stocked gift shop (yes, I bought TWA-branded playing cards), and even a turboprop plane-turned-bar. My personal favorite was the rooftop pool and bar where you can watch planes take off. There’s also a massive gym, history exhibits, and even a curling rink.

If it’s been on your list, consider this your sign to book a stay next time you’re in NYC. It’s fairly priced, especially for the day pass. And if we could do it over, we’d go for the Runway View room – watching planes from bed would have been the cherry on top.

Guess who’s going to be on Netflix this coming month? That’s right, me! I’m beyond thrilled that a childhood dream of mine—acting—is coming true, all thanks to magic. This incredible journey has inspired me deeply, and I’m more determined than ever to keep pursuing it.

Magic has taken me across the world, opening doors to so many amazing projects. Each day brings something new—no two days are the same—but I embrace every challenge with excitement. I love creating those magical moments that leave people in awe, and acting allows me to explore that even further. Projects like this, where I get to combine magic consulting with acting, are the ones that truly make my heart sing. I feel so lucky to be living this dream. I hope you’ll all tune in to see the movie come out! :)
